What a horrible teacher. This guy needs to stop (sigh). Cannot relate to student's inability to understand (sigh) material. Has very little (sight) character and it’s hard to stay awake. Makes hard material extremely (sigh) hard. Doesn't grade your (sigh) homework so there's no connection to studentsd. Oh yeah, he sighs a lot too. Don’t take him.

go to class, listen to his lectures...read read read! he curves BIG. 3 tests 1 final...final is worth 40% of the class! here's a quote from him. "if you get an A on the final, you get an A in the class" final was easy, thanks to my 30 hours of studying..if i can do it, you can too TRUST ME...just use him as a low/last resort in picking teachers

OMG! This guy sighs alot!!! It's hilarious the first day but after a while he's just plain annoying. He's confusing, unclear, a horrible communicator, & he says "you get the idea" alot... i didn't like him at all! the only good thing about him is that he curved the test way low so that a 47% was a C. This guy surely needs to retire!

I would not recommend this instructor to anyone. He does not know the material and he mumbles a lot. He should be fired from CSUF. I wonder how come he still teaches. If anyone wishes to mass up with phys, then take him. Otherwise, not recommended.

Pros: Articulate speaker, slow and steady teacher, assigns reasonable homework due each following week, posts homework help and past midterms/finals on his website, allows a 3x5 card of notes (front and back) for midterms (2 for the final), kind person. Cons: Slow pace of lectures may get students bored, does not have enough office hours.

I wouldn't rely on his lectures. He will answer any questions about homework in class, though. The best thing to do is to study his exams on his website because most(not all) of the material you will be tested on can be found there with explanations of how to solve each question. No need to show up.

take somebody else. all he does is derive formulas already derived in the book. can't remember a time where he has done any real examples in class. homework is worth 20% of the grade

Uh... what can I say...? This teacher will lectures about stuff he probably researched himself, which is not related to his exams, nor the homework. It's cool that he posts the previous tests on his website but don't depend on his lectures.

Hard class but not impossible. He's really willing to help anyone outside of class but the lectures are relatively unhelpful. READ THE BOOK

This guy teaches like a book: monotone, boring, and his lecture is straight from the book. All he does is derive formulas that are already derived in the book, that's all. Take whoever you can instead.
