In Storrs class, you can get an easy A, but you wont learn anything. If you take him for lab, you are unlikely to receive any helpful feedback on your project. Also, you wont know what your grade is until you get your final grade back. If thats fine with you, then take him.

Comment:

It's easy to get him off-topic, but even on-topic he just reads from slides. Aside from showing up for tests, this is can be taken like an online class. Throws extra-credit at the class for tests/take-home/make-up to make up for the class's shallow understanding of the material. Easy to pass, not hard to ace, but little learning going on.

Storrs is a nice guy but he is extremely boring. He reads straight off the slides and skips through them really fast. If you can get him off of the slides, he is actually a really good teacher but otherwise you wonder why you even bothered showing up for class.

Easiest course I've ever taken. So long as you halfway pay attention, you can get an easy A. Three exams, plus one to replace your lowest exam, and the final. You can fill a notebook with whatever you want for the exams, and you get to use it on all of them. Don't expect to learn much.

He's a fairly easy teacher. He does most of the projects for you and as long as you pay attention in class you'll understand the material by the end. You won't learn as much about coding as you could from other professors, but it's a good start if you are completely new to coding in general and don't know any languages whatsoever. Likes Rugby

Is a nice guy who will help you with any questions you have. However, if you take him you may have to see a tutor every time you have a homework or project given to you. He does give you full credit if he sees that you attempted to do the homework. I would recommend him but just be careful as he doesn't go into details on the material that much.

Will Avoid at all costs in the future. Power point teacher of the worst kind. Blows through slides. Reads every single 1 and 0 (sometimes there are hundreds) rather than picking a few and actually explaining anything where they come from. I have no idea why his other reviews are so good. I'm not disgruntled I currently have a low A or high B.

One of the best professors I have ever had. Always well prepared, and knows his stuff. Give him a challenge and he takes it. He has suprised me many times. He is concise and clear. There were even students in other sections of EE3302 that would audit his class just so they could understand the course materiel!
