Comment:

Professor Bridges is a really kind and wants you to do well in his class. However, it isn't an "easy A". You have to study to pass his exams but, he does give you study guides with all the terms that will be on the test. Grades heavily on attendance and participation. Grade depended on one essay and three exams, so you have to do well on them.

We didn't have many grades, so the first paper is really important and its due early in the semester. No assigned HW, but his exams are VERY hard. Study everything on his study guides. He's a tough grader on the papers and exams. Participation matters a lot, even if you say 1 thing per class. He can be a little entertaining but mostly redundant.

Dr Bridges is an absolutely WONDERFUL man! He is very willing to help you out. He makes classes fun and keeps you engaged by telling stories, playing games and having open discussions. For the papers, make sure to bring them to him ahead of time and he will help you get an A. I absolutely recommend his class 100%! oh an ps.. he LOVES doughnuts ;)

Such a funny teacher- I felt like I was going to story time, not to class. Participation is a big part of your grade, and can raise it significantly. I recommend this class completely to anyone who needs to take a humanities.

This man knows what he's talking about. He's interesting and kind and even funny at times. If you take his class, PARTICIPATE! Raise your hand, even if it's for a silly reason! As long as you take GOOD NOTES and participate, you will do fine. It's a fascinating course and he's a great teacher.

His test are very detailed but he doesnt teach the information detailed,hard grader on papers and puts way too much emphasis on class participation. Everyone says he's so good but i didnt see it....he simply taught me religion..nothing exciting form my experience..the more u talk to him inside and ooutside the class the better ur grade.

Dr. Bridges was by far my favorite teacher at Villa Julie. Very knowledgeable and the class was always interesting. He is very helpful and caring. Take one of his classes if you can, you will not regret it!

Awesome guy! Barely any tests, just keep the discussion going. Definately see him before turning in papers because he is very strict on grammar and even more on content. One paper, and two mini discussions. I have taken him for 2 classes and would highly recommend him to anyone who doesnt mind talking a bit!

nice guy, sometimes, take your papers to him in advance to check grammar if you dont want -30% on that alone (seriously). a jewish kid got a C on bridges jewish test. he seems to hate pres Bush, but not the brown noser in the front of the class. im suprised he hasnt duct-taped that kid shut yet.

Bridges is the coolest teacher at this school. I love his lectures and I'm learning a lot. I highly reccommend anyone to take him for Religion. He's like a grandpa you never had.
