I had Taz he had a lot of health issues, so class was cancelled quite often. However, he still was a good professor. His quizzes are discussion with him about the material, which is kind of intimidating, but honestly it was fine. You just have to interrupt him and not let him talk the whole time.

Take the 201 course as an intro--it's a good introduction. The real fun starts when you take some the other classes he teaches. Great prof, fun, not a hard-ass, passionate and thoughtful.

I had no idea what Taz wanted. I thought I was doing well in the class, but got a B. Don't bother going to class becuase it seems to make no difference in your grade. Don't get him started on the student activity commitee unless you want to hear an amusing rant.

Excellent teacher! If you don't understand, just ask and he'll explain it in a round about way. Class participation is a must to make the class interesting, otherwise it becomes very dull! Word to the wise,don't get behind in the readings
