Great professor. Really enjoy teaching & he displays it very well. You come to class with a good attitude & you will learn something! He made sure everything he did was differentiated, which was great! The quizzes were a little hard, but nothing you shouldnt expect at a 200 level course.

Loved this professor! Read the assigned material carefully- the quizzes can be a bit hard. Don't be afraid to email/message him with questions as he will help you in every way possible. You learn a lot of extra teaching tips in this class, and Urtel is incredibly knowledgeable about his topic and other things. Great prof.

Urtel is such an amazing professor. At the beginning you may be a little intimidated by him, but don't worry, he is great! He is the best professor I have had yet. His lectures and his assignments were a lot to handle but it payed off. I will carry the things I learned from him, forever. Take Urtel's class, you won't regret it!

Urtel is an amazing professor. Best professor I've had thus far. I learned so much in his class; he made learning fun and interesting. I can truly say that I will keep what I have learned with me forever. He's very caring, understanding, genuine, and funny. It's clear that he's extremely experienced and knows what he's talking about. LOVE.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. He'll make you work for it and you have weekly quizzes, but if you email him ahead of time what you've gotten from the (easy) readings, he'll help you out with main topics so that you're able to get an A. Do not skip class. Fantastic guy, super easy to talk to, and as a non PE major, I still learned SO MUCH. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Definitely not the easiest class I've taken, but definitely one of my favorites. Do the readings and if you're struggling talk to him. He can seem intimidating, but he is so nice and his main goal really is to help you succeed and become a better educator.

Professor Urtel was an amazing professor! This was my first education class and I learned SO much. He gives a lot of real world examples and stories. He prepares students for the world of teaching and many things he said stuck with me. He is very understanding about grades and he wants his students to succeed. Such an enjoyable class!!!

Don't skip class. He gives you points for going. The class is fairly easy and there a lot of points. Im not sure why all these people are saying he's the best teacher ever. He is extremely arrogant and his quizzes are very detailed and hard. But if you show up and do well on the group projects you'll be fine. He also doesn't make you take the final
