He tries to make a dull subject entertaining, but he only makes the subject matter confusing. He does not stay focused on conveying the point of the lecture because he is too busy trying to be funny and entertaining. He skims over important material. You need a good outline to do well.

Yochums great if you can keep up with the punchlines. The man should be appreciated for all the life he brings into some of the driest subjects in law. His method and style are unique and unmatched in terms of vitality and helpfulness.

Very entertaining. Tax is so dry, but his class was a treat. Ask questions if you don't get it--he'll answer. Duq. Law needs more Professors like him. The final is Multiple Choice (like 100 questions) and is a bear. Despite how fun Yochum is, you can't relax in this class or you'll be sorry-you need to buy the law in a flash cards to excel.

Has a charming funny lecture approach. He is, however, a one-man show, so remember that you are his audience, not a participant. He is also friendly with students, lacking the furrowed Socratic tension of a shouter or barker(wink). The school would be much better with more profs like him.

Court jester or professor? He does try to make a dry subject interesting. Most times it's enjoyable & entertaining but some days you want to scream "STOP THE INSANITY". He books it through material at times and skims some things that are a large portion of the exam - get the student outline.
