Market Analysis is one of the toughest classes I have taken in my college career. If you are .0003 away from a different letter grade he will not bump you. New group project due each Thursday. Sometimes two a week. An immense workload. When you take this class, help yourself out and don't take other hard classes along with it.

This class was one of the most time consuming courses I have had. The tests are 3hrs worth of work stuffed into an 1.5 hrs. Plus even if you get 100% on your assignments, if you aren't fast during the tests you will do very poorly in the class. Honestly I feel like this class could be a lot better if the tests were more reasonable.

Dr. Young is one of the most difficult professors I have had at Winona State. A lot of assignments, a lot of reading, and a particular grader.

A lot of work required but is not difficult work. You have A LOT of writing assignments to do each week. Along with papers, there are four quizzes and two homework assignments due every Friday. Tests are in class but you can have a 5 by 8 notecard, front and back. Content was understandable and easy, if you manage your time well you will be fine.

Mr. Young is a very respected professor in the marketing department. I have taken 2 classes with him and both have been online. His classes require a lot of work but if you don't wait until the last minute, you will be fine. He is open to questions via email and responds fairly quickly. Put in some effort and you should get a B easy.

Professor Young is a very good professor. He is easily understood, lays everything out in the beginning in the syllabus, and is always giving good feedback. He also lets you re-do assignments for more credit each unit. I would definitely take him again if I had the option!

He is the ideal online teacher! is meticulously organized & though most things are due Friday before tests he gives you a suggested schedule which is great because in summer you want the flexibility to do things at your own pace but without some guidance nothing tends to get done. He answers question and grades lightning fast. Tests are all MC

You can tell he cares about students and wants to help you out. Be prepared for pretty easy, but weekly homework assignments. A few papers. For tests you must do his review. You'll have to put in some work to get an A. A group project is a big part of your grade and the entire class, so try to pick good group members on the first day of class.

Dr. Young is by far one of my favorite professors at WSU. He is clear about expectations and provides you with the rubrics for his grading. Market Analysis is FULL of assignments that are all done in a group, but they are not difficult or time consuming. The exams are extremely similar to the assignments. I would highly recommend taking this class!

He believes in learning-by-doing. Weekly group assignments are easy, and end up feeling repetitive yet strangely insightful. There is a lot of real-world analysis within each assignment-- make sure you understand ExcelWord to save headache! He lectures only on core ideas, and guides students towards learning the rest on their own.

I took this class online in the summer. If you're not prepared to do a lot of work DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. I spent about 40 hours a week either reading, taking the quizzes, doing the memos, and doing the audit report. He lays it out nicely for you, but be prepared for the amount of work he assigns. I ended up with a B in this class.

This was an online International Marketing. The end grade was from the quizzes, cases, and the papers, which were all consecutive describing a company and product and overall describing how they could make the company and product global. It proved to be difficult to find the information required, even though he gave sites to go to. Tons of work.

Young is a good professor, but he requires a lot of work. There are three units with three assignments per unit. The assignments are difficult, but if you complete them you automatically get 10/10. The exams cover material from the assignments. If you have a Mac I would get bootcamp because you do a lot of excel work and he doesn't know about Macs

He is a great professor. At times he expects a lot from you but gets you ready for the marketing world. He is probably one of the best marketing professors in the department besides NewBerry. I HIGHLY Recommend him. I learned more in his class than all of my other marketing classes!

I took the online class. The book he chose was extremely helpful with lots of material to study with (and it was only $50 new). The only complaint I had was that there was a lot of coursework. I think it could have been rated a 4 credit hour class.

Prof Young is by far the most UNCLEAR professor I've had at WSU. He flits around from subject to subject and only explains what he actually expected you to do for the assignment AFTER you have already turned it in and received a horrible grade. WASTE OF TIME! I also totally agree that he looks like an eagle fetus. HOT :)

Professor young is very unclear about how he wants his assignments completed. He confuses u during class and makes u want to jump off the bluffs afterwards. I've found it impossible to pay attention to what he is saying during class cause he resembles a baby eagle fetus and now that's all i can think about. unless u read minds, dont take his class
