Amazing! I struggled with tests in the beginning and asked for a meeting and she could not have been anymore helpful. Her lectures are so interesting and she really cares about her students. Definitely one of my favorite professors at Mis!

Tests are based mostly on her lectures and less on the textbook, however, she includes specific questions on some text material so still read. She is very clear about her expectations and is willing to help. Genuinely cares about your educational well being and her lectures were interesting and informative. Take notes!

Dr. Hiester is an awesome professor! Lectures tend to be lengthy, but jam-packed with info backed up by personal experience and statistical data for reference. A handful of test questions will be specifically from the book, but tests are simple multiple choice, T/F, and essay. Info covered at length tend to be as essays. Skip and you'll miss out!

Professor Hiester has been one of my favorite professors here at Mis. She is caring, lectures well, and grades fairly. She successfully uses her own experiences with children (hers or not) to teach child development. I would take every class of hers if it was possible!

Pretty cool prof. She really helps when you need it. She helped me to figure out that I was studying all wrong and that is why I was having problems with the tests. I have ADD and needed extra help, and she helped not only with studying for her class but also with techniques for my other 3 classes. Totally awesome professor.

Dr. Hiester is one of the school's best professors. She is articulate, expert, caring, and has a gift for teaching. If you have a choice make sure you take her section. Her exams are fair and very well written, actually. She is completely dedicated, her commitment is total. I took her twice... and would take her again in a second. A+ !!!!!

She is my favorite professor! So nice, helpful, and smart. She is always willing to help, has very fair exams, is very knowledgeable, and interesting too! Try to take as many Psych classes with you if you can. She is really the only teacher at CM that prepares you for grad school!

Very easy to get along with person. Never flips out about anything and is very understanding and sensative to her students. She is always available if her students need help, but that rarely happens because of her teaching abilities.
