LOVE LOVE LOVE her!! Great teacher, had to write a 8-10 page paper for the final but had over 2 months to complete with her help every class. Hard of hearing so you get split up into groups by last name for one day out of the week. Do the work and you will pass! She is such a great person and is always willing to help.

Very tough course for a freshman english. If you don't do the work you wont pass. She isn't very clear in what she wants out of the assignments so you have to attend class regularly andor email or go to her office hours to get help and clarification. Beware of what you are getting yourself into.

This was literally the worst class I have ever taken. I have learned absolutely NOTHING because the only thing you discuss is the class topic and the 15 page paper. Other 202 courses only make you write several short papers. Not one long one. DO NOT RECCOMMEND. she is just an nightmare to contend with.

I thought i was doing ok in this class. I got a C on the big paper, and i had all my other assignments turned in. Somehow i still managed to fail this course. Do not select this professor. I worked my butt off for this class and I still got an F. I have never made below a B in any english class since high school. Coincidence? I think not.

THE worst teacher I have ever had. I wouldn?t wish her on anyone. She comes into class as if she is on some kind of drug that makes her extremely expressive and angry. Everyday is Baker yelling at anyone who steps in her rant.Yet she constantly encourages us to speak in class.Its a flip of the coin your going to get a C or a D. This lady is NUTS!

I would not recommend this teacher to anyone. She is very unclear about what she wants and is very unorganized. I have completed every assignment to the best of my ability and have not missed any days and I'm still making a C in her class. You may think her class will be easy, but for someone who wants to make a good grade, it is not.

I completed every assignment she gave and I didn't miss more days than I was supposed to and she still gave me a bad grade because she didn't like me. Great instructor, but has high expectations for students. Come to class prepared, or else... Loves what she does, loves to see students grow and learn -- thinks our generation is amazing and is eager to learn more about us. I learned a great deal about writing and analyzing.

Dr. Baker is one crazy person. She's nice but Peace Lit was a hard class. She and Ms. Kelly worked nicely together and made the whole learning community a fun thing. I especially liked doing the final project and interacting with all my other classmates.

I reaaaaaallllyyyyy dislike this woman. I had her for a semester in which she was taking on a former prof's classes while the prof was away. It was half-grad and half-undergrad. She catored toward the grad students, and let us undergrads feel intimidated and misinformed. I got nothing from this class except traumatized. She broke her own rules of teaching and set bad examples. It was a horrible semester.

Very difficult for a 100 level comp class. We had to write 6 pages before each class for our rhetorial analyses. Not clear on what she wants. I had no clue what grade I was going to get b/c she never grades anything and hand it back. Don't take her.
