She is a terrible professor. She is a very nice person, but as a professor, absolutely not. She grades very unfairly and will tear your papers apart if it is not up to her standards. Your paper can be 6 pages long and she will still say not enough detail is used. Will STRONGLY recommend not taking her.

I LOVE THIS WOMAN. She's a peach and a scholar and a treasure. She's difficult to please with your class discussion, but she respects hard work and effort.

The layout of the class is simple: reading, lectures, tests. The tests are ALL writing. So if you don't like writing/only rely on multiple choice, take a different professor. She lets students have outlines for all of the tests though! She's overall really understanding and knows a lot about history. She tells great stories in class, too.

Dr. Craig knows a lot about the subject and it shows! As long as you do the readings, you'll be fine in this class. Dr. Craig is really understanding when it comes to papers, she's usually pretty flexible with due dates because she understands what it's like to be a human. Class discussions are usually pretty fun!

she graded notes for extra credit at every test for my class. the lectures are incredibly unorganized so you need to use the book. she told us exactly what would be on the test so there is no reason you shouldn't pass them. participation is a must or your grade is in trouble

Dr. Craig started out nice but later in the class I realized that it would be almost impossible for me to receive an A. She assigns a chapter a night and recommends note taking. She allows outlines during the exam but makes sure they're not full sentences. She takes off obscure amounts of points on exams such as .2% off. Would not take her again.

She is a very caring teacher who is understanding and will help you when you need it. You just need to make the move to ask for help. She is a tough grader, but it has improved my writing. I have come to understand Shakespeare and appreciate it a lot more than I used to. I would definitely take her again.

Almost a quiz every day but by the middle of the semester she makes it so you get an A to help your grade. Tests are 100% writing. I was able to get a B without reading one page. She tells you the terms that are on the tests you just have to know them in great detail to write about them.

She takes attendance, you can only miss a few times. The book is very needed, you read a chap before every class. There will be a class discussion which is apart of your grade, there's also pop quizzes. Alot of xtra cred. Tests are all writing, so study! She's also an Eng teacher so grading is based on that as well.

I love Shakespeare, but it's not because of this class. Demanding, volatile, blames the students for misreading her confusing syllabus, takes a very condescending tone on papers and any dissenting opinions. I took my problems to the department head and got an official apology. I would *strongly* recommend steering clear of this teacher.

A lot of people didn't like her, but I thought she was nice and her class wasn't terrible. You cover a lot of material, but you know exactly what to expect on the test ahead of time because she gives a studyguide. However, if you don't like essay style tests, don't take her because that's all her tests are.

Dr. Craig is an amazing professor. I must admit that I was overwhelmed by the syllabus the first day of class, but it turned out to be quite easy. She picks novels for you to read that are interesting. She creates interest with personal stories. The class is dicussion based, but you have 4 journals due and an analytic paper. Final is discussion.

Made the best of a boring class. Knowledgeable about history with a bunch of personal stories and experiences. Main grades were a midterm and final. Grades pretty fair. Participate in class, prepare for class each week, and study for exams, and it's easy to get a good grade.

Idropped the class. She is unfair in her grading and makes you feel bad about your writing. She rips it to shreds and then tries to pass it off as teaching you something. I leaned nothing and just got more frustration. Don't take her if you can help it!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Dr. Craig is a very intelligent/well-read professor. She has a passion for Shakespeare and is very knowledgeable on the subject and surrounding time period. However, she is biased towards favorite students, and her opinion(s). In order to succeed: attend class, participate, and do the work. Offer ideas that reflect hers and use textual support.

while it doesnt seem as if she takes attendence...she does, so beware. she made learning shakespeare a lot more interesting and her passion for his work is apparent. final and midterm are easy as long as you have read and are somewhat verbal seeing as it is a discussion final. not very prompt at handing back papers and is picky on technical things.
