Dr. Koehler was an amazing professor. She took her time with each individual assignment with no harsh deadlines. She gave amazing feedback, made my time valuable, and cares about her students. She is also beyond understanding, and really helps as much as she can.

Dr. Koehler was one of the best English professors I've ever had. She took the time to sit down and have friendly conversations with me, and really truly helped me to realise some flaws in my writing. She also made me feel like my work was appreciated, and it made me respect her class by being a tough yet fair grader. I'd take her class again.

She's such an amazing professor with lots of feedbacks. You can go to her office anytime and she will help you. She's quite tough at grading but as long as you follow her criteria, you'll be fine. There's a 6 page long research paper as a final. It's very slow paced.

She is probably the sweetest person I have met on campus. While I did ok in her classes, she took the time to help me when I was struggling. Her tests are easy yet hard honestly depending on what you remember from the test material. She's not easy but definitely willing to help

She is a tough grader but is thorough and clear about assignments and information. She will give you helpful feedback on papers before they are due, and has review sessions before each exam. She is very encouraging and pleasant, never judgmental. Very little work outside of class sessions. Informative and interesting for sure!

Great teacher. The class is not by any means an easy A(although it is possible) but she definitely does help you improve your writing tremendously. You can tell that she wants to teach you everything she knows and will help you in any way she can. Definitely recommend.

Reading Poetry Class of hers is wayyyy too boring and uses poems that are out of date and nothing one can relate to. She also is a boring person because she'll drag on for two+ classes about a poem that no one understands in the first place. She also grades as if Literature is your major and not just an elective course to get through school

Her class is wonderful if you do the work and pay attention to what she says. She is an extremely knowledgeable teacher who is willing to impart vast amounts of information to you if you'd only listen. Many students seem to have problems with her class because they don't expect to need to read or write. Overall she is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Overall a somewhat easy class. Tends to grade the papers a little tough. Tests were fairly easy she told you everything that would be on it. Talks about sex waaaay too much and it got old extremely quick. I don't think a class went by where she didn't talk about sex. Classes were boring but if you read and pay attention class goes quick.
