The hybrid class was hard!Labs went well for me, but the written exams were extremely hard.I felt 60/100 ?'s were T/F.And many of them were questionable and not in our study guide/book.Dr.S and the lab teacher told me not to expect an A in the class. I spent every day of summer quarter studying, and barely walked with an A by one point! Good luck!

DO NOT TAKE THIS HYBRID CLASS!! People that took in class with other professors ended up doing so much better. First day of class they tell you that you will get a letter grade lower by taking hybrid. I studied my but off and did great in lab but exams are impossible and study guides NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! I barely made it out with a B.. good luck

261 is by far the hardest class I've ever taken. It was not made any easier by Dr. S. She failed to put her lab notes on the blackboard until the 4th week/quarter and was non responsive to my emails. The "study guide" questions she provided were, by and large, not what was asked on the exams. If you can take this course from some else then do so.

Dr. S heads the department and is in charge of all the written test which are multiple choice. There is a tremendous amount of info you have to learn. The tests contain questions that are not on the study guides or videos and some questions are not even in the book. The labs are organized and free of errors.

No communication. She's an awful awful teacher. I have sent NUMEROUS long emails with 2 sentence responses that had nothing to do with my questions--a week later.

She is a nice lady but this class not an easy class. Plan to spend all your time studying. Don't take the hybrid unless you want to teach all of the material to yourself. You basically get a study guide and then memorize to take the written exams. I am just glad it is over. Both the textbook and lab manual suck. I got a B.

1st day of lab, it will be made clear that you need to study ~18hrs / week (sad but true). Use some study skills & time mgmt; you CAN succeed. Don't count on help from Dr. S., tho'. Consider it an indep. study. Having purchased the reqd., poorly written & expensive lab book, I feel RIPPED OFF! (Ignored it mostly). Taking my A and running away!

Avoid hybrid! She knows her stuff, but expects you to somehow know it too. Study guides are useless, and only half the exam questions come from it. Open labs are a must to pass this class. She missed several appointments, and did not help us even when asked. Very disappointed, and am considering filing an official complaint w/CSCC. Good luck!

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT take Anatomy from this instructor! She authored the required lab book, which is riddled with wrong answers, misspellings, and poorly-written material. Her exams are unclear, disjointed, and pull from material that is nowhere to be found (other than wikipedia). It is unacceptable for CSCC to allow her to continue teaching

This class was poorly organized, the 100+ question study guides were useless, the exams were graded incorrectly, her response time for emails was deplorable at best. She missed appointments to come in and review materials or the test. Avoid the hybrid section at all cost.

Hybrid class is horrible. I can honestly say only take as last resort becuase it will be your life. Lab manual was FULL of errors. I studied constantly, but found that altough I used study guide, several questions asked on exams were not on study guide.

Took hybrid - this class will consume your life. There is a lot to know and Dr. S, while very nice, is not organized at all. The lab manual was very unhelpful except for the first exam, the text is very difficult to clearly understand, and labs go way too fast. You MUST attend open labs, those are actually very helpful. Don't get behind.

I took the hybrid class with lectures from Dr Sucheston. She came to several of our classes and explained information from the online material. To pass this class you MUST read the book, complete the lab book, and arrange your life so you can attend as many open lab sessions as possible.

OMG-Hybrid class very tough-do NOT choose this form of class for this class-lab manual had wrong answers in it-basically useless after chapter 1, study guides way off base-took 4 other books and medical dictionary to get thru material-exams are tough stuff on there you've never heard or seen on anything from that department-Good luck!

I WISH I HAD READ REVIEWS EARLIER WHILE I STILL HAD TIME TO ESCAPE. SHE MEANS WELL, BUT I REALLY THINK SHE HAS NO CLUE WHEN IT COMES TO TEACHING. EXAMS ARE EASY BECAUSE THE QUESTIONS ARE FROM THE STUDY ALL IN ORDER. THE WAY THE INFORMATION IS PRESENTED IS NOT CLEAR AT ALL. THE LAB MANUAL IS EVEN LABELED INCORRECTLY. I RECOMMEND MR KENZ AS TEACHER

Run! Run! Run! Scantron is always wrong. Lab book doesnt match the notes and you will always wander about your grades. Tests are very detailed I sometimes felt as if I was taking the MCAT.

Disorganized! Puts stuff on tests that are not in the book or lab manual or power points. Doesn't keep class informed. Posts grades weeks after the tests are taken.

This was by far the WORST professor I've ever had. The study guides are somewhat helpful if you consider all of the typos/errors. HOWEVER- the answers aren't always in the book or lab manual. I highly suggest getting familiar with google & wikepedia because you are going to need it to find the answers to her rediculously obtuse questions. RETIRE!
