Professor Bookbinder is the man, this was my first economics course I've ever taken and I learned so much! He explains his topics thoroughly and for the most part his study guides and everything he writes down on the board is pretty straight forward. The essays on his test are worth the most points so study hard and you'll get a good grade.

I have taken 3 classes with Dr. Bookbinder and liked all of them. He is a great teacher who cares about us and wants us to learn. He is a class act and does not like texting and annoying late students.

Professor Dr. Martin Bookbinder grades you on 4 things: 1) Test 1 2) Test 2 3) Paper 4) Final Exam *He adds up the four and divides it by four and that's your final grade! Talks a lot about history; loves politics; REPUBLICAN; usually the class before the tests he reviews. Go over the study guides!

Worst economics class ever. He talks and talks and doesn't get to the point. I honestly do not like the way he teaches. His exam reviews doesn't have all the contents that come up on the test. The exams are ridiculously hard, and he thinks that students have a SD memory card in their brains. You pretty much have to guess the entire exam.

He is a great and knowledgeable professor. I would take the class over again in a heartbeat. Honestly, my favorite professor. His classes are interesting and even entertaining. Studying for his test are a must, but the tests are totally fair.

I would not wish having a class with Prof. Bookbinder upon my worst enemy. His is hard to understand when he is constantly chewing on his gum and complaining about cell phones. He uses wikipedia as a source and rarely answers student's questions. I would have rather taught myself economics, than sit through his class.
