Here is the thing. He is a wonderful professor. I recommend to take it with him. Nearly eighty percent, he gives all the programs for homework. Now the only thing is to crack the remaining. Very helpful and gives lots of his personal stories in class. Funny and Easy A.

The expectations in the course are crystal clear, and the feedback is fast. I have never seen a professor grade so fast. One assignment was due at midnight and graded before 3am. It is easy to get stuck on an assignment, but if you start early, he'll answer any question. Don't wait until it's too late to ask for help, and you'll ace it easy.

His lectures are too long. He gives his past funny stories and jokes. He just reads his own handout. 80 percent he gives his assignment''s code. Some codes were way too complex which can also be done in easy way but he likes his code to be posted in assignment. Overall Easy A but less practical knowledge from his teaching.

Had sister classes C#/MSSQL & Java/Oracle (4703) with him now. He is a character and can seem abrasive, but has a sense of humor. Show him honest effort and he will help you. Exercise instructions challenging to understand, but examples for everything. The devil is in the details with him! Classes were incredibly helpful and opened doors for me.

Sure, he uses his word documents as a guide to lectures, but they have been carefully created and include everything you need to get an A in the course. Those complaining about him being unclear and unhelpful must want a grade handed to them on a silver platter. His assignments reinforce the topics covered. Overall, a knowledgeable, good professor.

Worst handwriting I have ever seen. No code examples written in class, just reads from .doc files. Replies in emails harshly with code hints tricks and tips which are incorrect. Be prepared to do a lot of research on your own and pray.

took .net and databses with him. has to be the worst teacher the computer science dept at FAU has. reads off slides, assignments are unclear, not very helpful in email responses, jus write 'no' and emails back... avoid! learn .net on your own.

This is the worst professor at FAU. DO NOT take his class, his assignments are hard to understand not because there hard just because this guy has a hard time putting his thoughts together in a piece of paper, he has no clear plan or time line or does not make any sense, explains from reading his word documents, bad bad teaching style. avoid !

Professor is very knowledgeable and seems to have good intentions however my experience with his teaching style was poor. He reads from word documents and assignments are simple but boring, he thinks he can teach .net in 1 semester (including SQL crash course) which ends up confusing people and not learning much. Prepare to learn on ur own.

It's a fun to attend his classes. He puts a lot of effort to make you understand the stuff being taught. The course I have mentioned here (Philosophy of Computation) is one of the toughest for comp. sc. graduate curriculum, and he does the best job with it. If you want good grades from him: pay attention in the class and do your hard work.

assignments where alot of work, he doesnt explain things very well, teaches from word documents, just reads through them and sits in the classroom trying to make jokes. be prepared to learn everything on your own. make sure you have lot of time to dedicate to this class. exams where easy though
