This is a great class to take for a gen ed credit. Dr. Marshall makes the material very easy to learn with the study guide, and the projects are very interesting. Do all of the assignments on time and pay close attention to the exam dates.

This class was great, just fill out the study guide and study a little and you should do fine, the tests aren't that bad. A few online assignments were easy and he one big assignment was not that difficult either. Take for an easy A!!

Easy A! Make sure you review your note packet that you buy from him and youll do fine. if you dont review, test may be a little hard. i finished with a high A and didnt even do the last assignment.

Completely online class. Buy the course pack and the registration code (you can buy them separately to save money) Exams are 40 questions in 40 minutes and all of the answers should be in your course pack. Exams use lockdown browser which is terrible. There are two other easy assignments due as well.

Dr. Marshall changed the course over the summer. All four exams are online (each 25 points) + 16 bonus points. Assignment 1 is worth 40 points. I did the taste panel for Assignment 2 (10 points). I def recommend this course. I got an A w/o using Smokin' Notes. Online course where you go at your own pace. :)

I thought this class was very easy and I never watched a lecture, just memorized the smokin notes. My science background did help, but the tests are all easy as long as you study for a few days before and do all the extra credit & assignments.

Ignore all those who say this teacher/class is not an easy A. It is. Of course, this is college, you have to do "some" work for classes. If you take this class seriously, then you won't need smokinnotes to get an A. If this is just a buffer class, then buy the notes and you will do fine. It's so easy a caveman can do it. (exam grades:75,70,75)

Seriously, I did not watch one single lecture. The smokin' notes are pretty much all you need to pass the exams if you study them really well. Prof. Marshall is pretty helpful and he actually wants you to get a good grade. I got a pretty solid A.

The lectures are pretty boring and very slow. They are not a "live" lecture but a slide show with his voice over. You can find the transcript on eLearning and read through that instead. Test 3 is very easy and test 2 is very detailed. Go over the study guides before hand. KNOW THE 10 PRACTICE QUESTIONS - they are on exam! Easy A w/ little effort.

Online class. Got the TZ notes and read them 3 days before an exam. Do the 2 assignments, and the bonus, and the A is yours. 2nd exam is hardest, but you should get a perfect score on the 3rd one. His presentations online are comical, and i actually learned some stuff from this class. Overall, great professor.

Easy. Lectures unnecessary (although the online ones are slightly entertaining) but READ smoking notes & memorize everything in them b/c everything on the test is included. Need to buy book new but you wont use it. Recommend it if you need the Gen Ed. Just dont think you can blow it off & still do well.

Not too easy, but probably the easiest BIO credit you can get. I wouldn't recommend taking it in the summer terms, especially if you have other classes, as it's a lot of information and very little time. Test 3 is too easy. Lots of extra credit to bump you up to an A.Smokin' notes help, but for great scores watch the lectures, too, memorize details
