He's ditching ISU for more money after this semester. He's pretty boring, really, but his class is fairly easy. You won't use your book very much. You'll have six quizzes and a final presentation due at the end of the class, that isn't graded via a syllabus.

Acct 583 was tough. lots of statistics but if go every day and talk to him you will get through. I had him for 285 & 383 also. Write down everything he writes on the board for those 2 classes because that is exactly what is on the exams. Best prof in business school hands down!

Marv kicks ass. He lets you know exactly what to expect from his exams, and what he expects from you. He works out problems step-by-step that are very similar to exam questions, and even lets you use those notes on the exam. I'm very happy I had him as an instructor for this class.

This is the best professor that I have had at Iowa State. He is an awesome guy and the class was very good. He is very clear about what he wants and gives great examples. He tells you exactly what he wants on tests and he lets you use your notes but you must stay organized. Highly recommend!!!
