Dr. Koory is so fun! It was a three hour lecture class but it didn't feel that long! 1 2-3 pp paper, 2 3-5pp paper, final 8-10 paper. Good interesting class, and Dr. Koory is unforgettable!

Exceptional professor. Her fascination with Shakespeare is contagious. Her assignments are fair and fairly graded. Be sure to keep up with the reading, and you will do fine. She loves when you speak up, even if your opinion is controversial. I would be happy to encounter her in future courses.

Hated her "play" Kate theory, which was the only one of any interest to me in this class at all. Pseudo-feminist, but not at all. Wannabe deconstructionist, but not smart enough. Needs to use more outside sources and criticism.

This class is really for English major who can write really well. I got As for all my previous literature classes, but I ended up with a B+ in this class despite working really hard. Very high expectations. Be sure you take good notes (whether she is relating the drama to an artwork or staging), cuz they will be in the final.
