I loved taking her class. The lectures were a little hard to follow, since it was late in the day and people were ready to go home, but she is a real gem. Very accessible outside of class and I found myself just going in to chat.

Beaudry has such a dry sense of humor that you'll get a kick out of if you get a chance to know her. Her lectures can be a little dry but she's happy to have further discussion if you initiate. She's been involved in some interesting stuff.

Great professor! Lectures seemed rather monotonous, but interesting nonetheless. Knew the material well. Readings, field trips, and guest speakers were applicable to the lectures and a great time to be outdoors. Three experience papers, 1 take-home final, and participation make this class a fairly easy A in the summer.

I had taken a lower level class with Beaudry and thought she was brilliant, but boring. taking this smaller class with her opened up my eyes to how awesome she is. lectures can be boring, don't REALLY need to read, but if you need anything (help, someone to talk to, advice) outside of class she is so eager to meet with you. recommend her!

Easiest class I ever took. Subject varied between very interesting and very boring, and professor did not help. However, you can simply do nothing, wait for her to hand out study sheets, and do all the reading the night before, and get an A. I mean, that's not what I did at all...

Horrible professor. The study sheet for the test is like an encyclopedia index and she will not answer your questions in e-mails or during the office hours. Monotonous lectures are perfect for falling asleep in comfy chairs. Book is expensive and useless, cd-rom assignments are easy and also useless

Easy A in this class as long as you fill out the study sheet she gives you before tests. For the most part, the test IS the study sheet, except for maybe a few questions. Lectures can get boring, but she knows her stuff, and she's a strange lady, but interesting.

if u go to class once in a while and keep up with the slides online its an easy B+, just make sure u do the study sheet before each exam and ull do fine, CD is a free 100, class is boring most of the time but there is also alot of interesting stuff

Good teacher. Funny, but very subtle. Somtimes hard to stay awake, but subject matter is interesting and varried. Maybe I'm biased since she's my advisor, but I think she really knows her stuff, but expects others to adjust to her pace of thinking rather than the other way around.

Beaudry will not respond to any emails sent by students regarding the material covered in class (after she said she would!). Very boring! Pointless to attend lectures because she posts presentations and review sheets online. Homework is easy. DON'T TAKE CLASS UNLESS SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING ARCH MAJOR!

This is doubtlessly the single most boring class I've ever taken. It's almost unbearable. The homework is designed for third-graders but the exams are designed for archaeology majors. Stay the hell away.

Very reasonable class. 3 exams, optional final. CD-ROM homework (everyone gets a 100 basically) counts for a quarter of your grade. It's impossible to do badly in this class- just show up and learn the material.

She can go off on tangents at times, but that's part of the fun of it. She's definitely better with smaller classes. Very funny and intelligent as long as you do the reading and don't sleep through class.

the hour of class provides ample nap opportunity, since taking notes is unnecessary since everything is posted on the web. Her jokes are not as funny as she seems to think they are and the TA's are just as boring.
