This is literally the worst teacher I have ever had. She is arrogant, and unhelpful. Her tests are ridiculous, her quizzes take HOURS. If you pass this class, i salute you. Don't even bother, you'll fail.

Comment:

She talks a lot but is very informative and she's got her own way of making it interesting. She can be intense but she's passionate about history. Best way to study for exams is strictly by the outline she provides. I found out a little late in the semester but ended up w/ an A. She gives plenty opp. for xtra credit. I thoroughly enjoyed her class.

The absolute worst professor I've ever had. She doesn't teach, she rambles. Her quizes are take home and they're ridiculous. I'm currently in hist 1302 making an A. I failed her class.

I am about halfway through the semester now. She is a difficult teacher but she is willing to help you with anything if you go to her office hours. It is very important to attend class since there are quizzes due once a week at minimum. You MUST read and study her reviews for the test, as well as complete her quizzes. She gives A LOT of extra credi

I liked her as a person from conversations I had with her outside of the class but as far as her class and the way that she taught goes, I did not like. She teaches very fast and was hard to understand and I had a 4.0 prior to taking her class. So unless you are a history buff I would not recommend taking her class.

Very hard and she needs an attitude adjustment! Please save yourself the headache and take someone else. Her test have nothing to do with the crappy notes she makes available online. She gives quizzes that can't be made up. Which requires you to attend everyday as if you don't have a life outside of her class.

Extremely hard course with her. History was my best subject until I took her course. The material is unclear, she herself tries to interject her political beliefs on students and in lessons. Tests are insanely hard, and make no sense at all. Overall, TERRIBLE professor. There a much better professors then her.

This teacher is EXTREMELY HARD!!!!!! Moves insanely fast and is just flat out rude most of the time! Tests are super hard and its a class I always dreaded going to. Even working my hardest I was going to fail, I had to drop the class, ONLY class I have ever dropped!!! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! You'll regret it!

HARD!! Would be excellent for upper level grad teaching. Freshman History is not her forte, not helpful, marks you absent when you are there, exams seem to have no right answer, if you ask questions she makes you feel dumb for it. a LOT of information and not enough time for it all. Does not understand a students needs, only hers. DONT TAKE HER!!

Lots of notes and lots of information. somewhat interesting, but still really HARD. personally, she is a prideful, left-wing, know-it-all, who feels the need to diss Christianity and conservitave values as much as possible. if she is the only time that fits ur schedule, urself a favor and wait a semester.

A lot of quizzes. Lectures are non stop and tons of notes. Quizzes over EVERY chapter tested. Also a lot of questions on tests that do not have a clear answer and long question with paragraph answer choices.. quite annoying when she doesn't give you enough time on the test anyways..

I am a history major, and I love history. That being said, she sucked every bit of fun out of this class. She will make you feel like an idiot if you disagree with her, and she will punish the whole class for one person's mistake. She knows the subject very well, but unless you like extremely mean professors, I WOULD NOT recommend her at all.

I came into Mrs. Buingers class very unprepared, I dont recommend this class unless you are prepared for non-stop work, chapter quizzes due 2-3 time per week, plus quite a few exams, she offers xtra credit, but with her work load, its hard to find time to complete all of it. Hard, very fast, essays on every exam, you miss one day ur screwed.

Her lectures are surprisingly VERY easy to follow and often times kind of interesting. BUT, and it's a big, round, bountiful but, the 1-2 chapter quizzes a week (albeit take-home quizzes) are exceedingly difficult with answers not readily found in the text. Each test has an essay, extremely difficult and way off from her lectures. DO NOT TAKE HER!!
