She is constantly absent, once a month at the very least, with no explanation. Then she carries on in class like nothing happened while the whole class is behind. She confuses herself often while teaching. The only positive with her is that she's nice and makes it relatively easy to pass.

Professor Ward is a great teacher! I can appreciate her dry sense of humor and her frank responses. She does offer extra credit and makes an obvious effort to help her students succeed. I was grateful to be in her class.

I'm not very good at math at all and I was able to get an A in her class. She gives a lot of extra credit and most of it is on the quizzes she gives in the beginning of class. She let's you have notes during the exams which helped a lot. If you attend class every day and do all the homework you should be fine.

DO NOT TAKE HER! You will regret it, if you do. She goes through homework the first two hours! and then "teaches" three chapters in one hour! not clear at all, just horrible! do yourself a favor and take someone else.

if you have a desire to actually learn algebra i strongly encourage you to not take her class.Ward is part of the reason the american education system is failing.you show up at class,she blows through HW questions and you leave an hour early.she offers an insane amount of extra credit.if you need to learn algebra, take another theater.

Easiest A ever, so no complaints there. BUT, as a teacher, she is USELESS. You read the chap before class and are expected to teach yourself. If you have ?'s on the homework she says "Give it 5 minutes and if you don't get it, just move on." OR "Google it." Class expectations are crystal clear; impossible to fail. But no real learning going on.

Mary Ellen is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Caring and helpful. Math isn't my forte however she helped make math fun by giving lots of extra credit and always answering all my questions. As mentioned, it's almost impossible to fail if you show up to class, do the quizes, and the extra credit. She was my teacher for all my math classes.

Great teacher!! Any questions you have she will willingly answer absolutely clearly. If you need help afterwards she will gladly help during her office hours. Gives plenty of extra credit and will drop your lowest test score. Absolutely recommended teacher!

This class is so easy.She doesn't teach very well and makes a mistake on simple things at least twice a day,annoying. Most everyone leaves in the middle of the class. 4 tests one is dropped. Must take a quiz every day and they all end up equaling a test so that makes up for another test. Very boring and taught myself everything from book. easy A

Mrs. Ward, is an amazing math teacher. I never was strong in math, until I attened her math class. She helps her students understand all the problems, she goes through the lectures step by step. Its almost too easy to get an A. (95% of class have A's). Best part, if you have an A in the class, you dont have to take the final!!

Professor Ward was the best teacher I have ever had! She goes over things multiple times just to insure the class is getting it. She knows how to teach. Very easy to get points in her class and get an A. I wish I could have her for all of my classes.
