Very good at teaching the basics of accounting. The tests are not difficult and you rate your own participation each day. As long as you say one thing in each class you will get 100% on participation. The group project is difficult, but you have a month to do it

Just do NOT take FR1 with Gainor, especially if you have the option to have a different prof. She makes the course way harder than it needs to be and expects you to devote every minute outside of class to studying. Half of the class fails the exams and she won't scale because she doesn't believe in giving away "free points". SAVE YOURSELF

She is a very good professor and knows her information, but there is a lot of assignments that take a long time. Mostly self-taught. If you are NOT an accounting major/ minor DON'T take! She expects you to learn material basically on your own outside of class to discuss in class... but this is a 200 level, not 400.

this class is easy to do well in if you put in the effort. she explains everything thoroughly and all assignments are clear. however, there are online assignments weekly which are VERY time consuming and exams require a lot of studying. basically if youre willing to put in the time, youll do fine

Really good professor, I wish I had taken her for acg203 as well. She explains everything really clearly and really loves accounting. I did not like acg203 but I really liked this class a lot. If I needed another acg class I would definitely take her again. Her exams are not hard, if you study you will do well. She really wants everyone to do well

I am an accounting major, but this was my first accounting class. She is really not that bad, if you put in the work. Accounting is all about getting down the format and then just using it. I have Duxbury for ACT 204 now and she is not any easier. So just take here class and do the work and you should be fine. BTW there are much worst teachers. AM

Alright, lets put it this way. If you aren't an accounting major don't take her. There is one quiz a week (on a friday night online), 4 tests, aplia, a project and homework. If you are she will be challenging but she will make sure you learn. She does hand out extra-credit. She's a nice person, but she doesn't understand that we have other classes

She is always prepared and really knows the material. She also teaches so students can understand. from word of mouth everyone says awesome things

DO NOT TAKE!! I hade a great GPA (over a 3.80) until I had this class. It is a bunch of b.s. One of the hardest graders at Bryant. Does not give extra credit or help out on the grading process. Take any other professor but her and get a higher or equal grade. With Anyone else you could earn a higher grade. My opinion DO NOT TAKE!

Really nice lady but can get really carried away with the subject matter she will start off nice and slow and then somewhere in the middle of the semester flips onto turbo mode and loses alot of people. shes knows her stuff and is helpful but you can lose her easy just do the homework to try to keep up. She will explain things but usually only once

What??? Are these people crazy? This lady IS extremely helpful but her class is insane. 8 pages of notes each class, shes a genius that can't dumb herself down to our level. All tests scores averaged in the 60s. Nice lady, bad teacher.

One of the best math teachers I've ever had. She is extremely helpful, upbeat, and breaks everything down simply. The tests aren't hard if you pay attention in class and keep up with the homework.
