I have Larson right now. He is a good man. 7 books required for the semester. Lot's of reading. Novels & BIOs. 3 exams over the semester- primarily book analysis/ making connections. READ READ READ and pay attention. The answeres to connecting everything are in his lectures

One of the best professors I've ever had. Dr. Larson took material I thought I would find boring and made it interesting and engaging. If you have a passion for American Literature, he's the absolute best to have as a prof.

A bit dry, but I wasn't interested in the material, so I might be biased. Larson is kind, understanding, insightful and fair.

Whoo nelly. Larson is an incredible professor who is extremely smart. He expects a lot, but gives a lot. He does a great job of assisting the conversation without controlling it. Definitely, you have to do the reading, but a great professor if your loo

They don't come any better than Professor Larson. He has enthusiasm for the subject, and succeeds, as others do not, in passing it on to the students. He's also fair and nice, unlikely to penalize you for turning in a late paper. Far and away the best that CSU has to offer.
