Comment:

Very good teacher. Lectures are clear, to the point, and easy to follow. Students who don't do homework and study will fail. I had to work pretty hard to get a B in this course, but it's the material more than the teachers. I would definitely take her again.

She explained things with really weird analogies and I had a teacher in high school that explained these concepts much better. She does teach it though and as long as you do all the homework you'll get through it fine.

Pretty average professor. Gives you attendance points which can really can help by the end of the year. Not the best teacher for calc 1 but certainly not the worst.

Comment:

Very strict with attendance but very thorough in teaching. She will help you with anything. She does say "question" instead of questions, but that's not too terrible. She also has you fill out little pieces of paper instead of using a clicker.

One of the nicest teachers you will have. She is very helpful and will go out of her way to answer your questions. Sometimes she will ramble during lectures and use strange examples, but you get used to it. Her lectures are easy to understand and she will repeat herself if necessary. If she uses the phrase "reinvent the wheel" a lot, that's normal.

She seemed nice and seemed to care about the students a bit more than other profs. She has a soft voice which is nice but can put you to sleep. Her explanations are not always that clear, but she doesn't mind going overexamples in depth if someone asks a question in class. I would reccomend for Calc 1.

She's a very nice lady (though her jokes need improvement) and very fair. If you have problems, she will happily see you at her office. Her teaching style is pretty straightforward and sometimes sleepy, but overall I can't complain. A NOTE: You will do MUCH better in this class if you get the Solutions Manual (available on Seek42).

She was an alright teacher. She seemed to care about her students understanding more than Kinder. The Calc I tests are graded VERY hard though. You NEED to do the homework if you want to get a decent grade.
