Mulcahys botany class was very fun, and extremely well set up. As long as you are participating and putting in your best effort, you will do great. She does give extra credit on multiple exams and grades very generously (possibly because its a newer class for her), always willing to help. I like how everything is accessible via courseweb too

She is very excited about her class so is more entertaining then a lot of professors. You need to go to class so you can listen to her stress what you need to know. You can get a good grade but you NEED to work for it. Also write down everything she says because sometimes a question will be on the test that she casually mentioned.

Mary is a great professor! She does seem a bit unorganized but a lot of the time it's to the students benefit because she'll give you points on her behalf! She also gives extra credit and easy points when possible and her tests aren't hard if you study! Also, attend class because she makes it VERY CLEAR exactly what she will put on the tests!

Mary is a fantastic professor. While she can be disorganized at times, who isn't? I'm disorganized right now. Her exams are only difficult because Mary challenges you to think. Don't hesitate to take her courses unless you don't like to use your brain.

dont let her dis-organization fool you, she is a very very brilliant woman in her field. the tests were very difficult (at least within the biology major- im not sure about electives), and you had to put a lot of time and energy into studying. she was always there to lend a helping hand and go out of her way.

She did wear amish clothes everyday with her hair in her braided ponytail, but she was willing to change her teaching style to help our class learn the material in a better maner. Yes she is very unorganized and at times looses papers and doesnt know how to add your test scores, so make sure you look over your tests when you get them back. Friendly
