I am a much better writer today because of Prof. Prescott's class. She will assign a few papers and reflections, but allows enough time in between assignments for you to refine your work. If you truly want to become a better writer and put work in, take her class.

Comment:

This was my favorite professor. In this class, you have to work hard, and care about your work. If you are passionate about writing take this class. I definitely recommend going to her office hours, and getting to know her one on one. I got an easy A, and the work is very spaced off, giving you a lot of time to complete it. I would recommend her.

Mary Prescott is my favorite professor here at Bryant. Her class required a fair amount of reading, but she chooses interesting books so class discussions were always thought provoking. She gives great essay advice if you ask for it and I received numerous As on papers from her suggestions. Put in the effort, participate, and you'll do just fine!

Very boring and confusing Professor. She assigns a lot of reading and the material you read is extremely hard to comprehend. Very nice lady, just not a class I would recommend. Assignments are difficult and she is a hard grader.

Class is kind of weird, only had three paper. a 5 page research paper which is straight forward and 2 2-3 page short essays that felt impossible, but still got a good grade on them had to watch a movie about cowboys and do a project, read lots of poetry so boring do not take

Professor Prescott is an excellent professor in the LCS department. Her passion for writing showed throughout the course. She was a little nutty but was very helpful in conferences and totally transformed my writing. Attendance is not mandatory. Would definitely recommend.

AWEFUL!!! Do NOT take, went to her office hours at least 4 separate times to review a paper before it was due, made all the necessary changes, still gave me a D+ (and I'm a decent writer). Naratives were boring, she is very vague and uninteresting. Avoid at all costs!

Best teacher I've ever had. I wish all of my classes were this easy. Hopefully she becomes my boss at whatever job I get when I graduate. Words simply cannot describe how easy this class is to take and also understand. Ms Prescott doesn't call the wrong number, you just answer the wrong phone.

Ishe's a hard teacher, but she tells you exactly what she wants yoy to do. She's really helful during her office hours. PAY ATTENTION in class. she loves "out there" ideas even if you have only a little evidence. if u like english and want to conform to a writing style, she's the professor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
