I had Dr. Kubal many times as a student at SBU. She inspired me to pursue a PhD in political science. She really knows her stuff. She can be dry at times and her lectures boring, but she is always looking out for her students. Go see her in her office, away from class. She can be pretty funny too! An all around amazing prof, just give her a chance!

I don't know where to start... A lot of what she says she giggles at, and it's just kind of awkward. The material in class is both outdated and often irrelevant for any real useful learning. Don't expect your course work to be given back in a timely manner!! I understand life is chaotic at times but that's still no excuse to slack off on grading.

Even after writing the comparative paper for this class.. I still couldn't tell you how to actually write it! 8-12 pages of randomness. The class is so boring and I don't get the point of it. Soo boring. Don't expect to get grades back quickly either

Worst class ever! The class was super boring and dry. All she does is talk the entire time about powerpoints or shows you extremely outdated videos. She never gives back graded assignments, not sure what she's doing that she can't grade things. You can't read anything she writes either. Do not recommend. It was a struggle to go!

Became very frustrated when she takes over a month to grade things and comes up with ridiculous excuses on why. I would love the roles to be switched and see how she likes it if I just don't get things in within a timely manner. It was very disrespectful. Notes are horrendous on the board. Most boring class ever. It was awkward too. Don't recommend

Extremely boring. While the class is not super difficult it was the most boring class I have ever taken at Bonaventure. She laughs at herself a lot and her notes on the board are very difficult to read. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have to take. She also takes weeks to grade things even when she tells you she'll do it sooner.

I recommend to every political science major to take as many of her classes as possible. She loves to share insight and knowledge and will be there for you whenever you need her. She is boring at times but extremely knowledgeable, i have learned almost everything i needed for my future endeavors in political science from her.

POL 356= US & Latin American relations...EASY!! By mid semester I realized I only had to read to skim for answers for our on-line quizes (which I also googled the answers for too). Not a bad class if you don't have the time to read much oustide of class. Tests were straight forward and fair. I'd recommend her again. boring at times, but very sweet

I'm impressed that she can talk for an hour and 15 minutes, but seriously I fall asleep during every class. She always asks for opinions, but no one ever answers so she just restates what she's already said. She doesn't teach, everything is just from online articles you have to read. Tests are all vocab. Easy, but so painful to sit through.

Prof. Kubal is a good, helpful professor. Yeah, her classes can be pretty boring at times, and sometimes you might have to drag yourself out of bed, but at the end its worth it. I didn't go to class much, but when I did I made sure to take good notes. Exams are from her scattered notes.If you feel lost, go to her office hours, it got me an A!

I took her for both Women in Politics and Comparative Politics. It was a fight to get out of bed in the morning to drag myself into the class. I've never heard someone say "Um...right?" so many times. Avoid her unless you want an hour and fifteen minute period for making to-do lists, doodling and writing letters. I seriously have learned nothing.

I want to thank Prof. Kubal. If you go to your classes and pay attention you will do fine, just take good notes, and to be honest i didnt do any of the readings. In the end, when it really mattered i took a summer class, and Kubal really helped me out, and although i never really thanked her, i would really like to say thankyou for her helpfulness

Count how many times she says UH, UHM, RIGHT? and ESSENTIALLY. SOOO boring, the only way I got through class was to talley the ammount of times she said those four words. It is amazing to me that a person could use these words so many times..
