Comment:

This class was first from coming back from years of a break from school. It was difficult material due to it not being interesting to me. But as long as you have your book handy and use her power point lectures you'll be fine. I would recommend to take this course.

Took this class online and got an A that should have been an A+. First her syllabus is incomplete, with relevant info on two other sheets, one of which had the extra credit info I needed that I didn't find till after it was too late to submit. Canvas is a mess with no real help. Teacher is very picky about grammar yet she has errors everywhere.

The class itself was very easy. She did not upload any powerpoint or lectures, so the only way to learn is read the textbook. a few video questions, 2 "jury" responses, a contract analysis, and 5 quizzes with the lowest dropped is all the class entails.

I felt the online class was really unorganized and when I first logged in, I couldn't figure out where the assignments were. The class isn't terrible, but law is not something I'm very good at or interested in. Pretty much taught myself with this online class with the textbook and her powerpoint presentations. Didn't feel like there was much help.

Great class. Very SUPER easy. I took it in the summer and it was online. Each chapter is 4 to 6 pages long. Some are even 2 pages and longest ones are between 8-12 pages. Do the reading, the quizzes are all and I mean ALL from the reading. Only have to do three Assignments. Got and A+ in class. Would definitely retake.

Comment:

Professor Sessom is great. The class does require a lot of reading from the textbook, but she explains every assignment very well, so there is no confusion. She will review assignments if submitted at least 48 hours before the due date, and drops the lowest quiz score. Responds to emails quickly, & will give students suggestions. Highly recommend!

I loved her class and I enjoyed reading the textbook. The assignments were interesting and allowed you to relate the text to real life. She sometimes gave extra credit to assignments well done. Read the syllabus carefully, follow instructions and you can pass. Get a writing tutor or take business writing first - writing matters.

Honestly this was one of the easiest classes every. I took it online, I did not buy the book, did not read anything. The answers for quizes were all online and the written assignments I relied on powerpoints that she posted. Honestly this is a very easy class take it for an easy A but if you actually want to learn then dont take it :)

I HATED this class and professor. There was no structure at all to the way they taught. I ended up dropping it and deciding on a different career path because it was that awful. The lectures were pretty much just them trying to figure out where the other one left off or answering the MANY questions for clarification from the other students.

She's extremely condescending in emails. I understand that you're a professor and worked for where you are now, but there is no need to be rude. She's a good teacher, nonetheless, but I just can't get past how rude she is. I liked her co-professors lectures though, he reminds me of Patton Oswalt (humor-wise).

It really doesn't matter on the quality of her grammar, because she has TAs that help grade the coursework. Yes she is strict on grammar, so don't make grammatical mistakes in your work. She expects her students to write at a college level! She was very helpful to courteous students, and the coursework overall is very easy. I enjoyed the class.

Oh my god, I regret taking this class online with her. I worked my butt off, and ended up with a C...she is crazy about grammar and spelling, but she continues to make constant errors in emails and documents. If there is another teacher available for this class take them! Also, she snaps back at you when you question her about anything.

Great professor. Is always helpful, responds to emails quickly, and is willing to proofread and make corrections to assignments before hand! Easy class, you will read/ learn a lot. If you don't mind reading and writing then this class will be great for you. I learned a lot, and enjoyed this course. Also, you have to buy the book.

This instructor started with; "Call me Doctor or Professor" I thought, how arrogant. but it does not show as I've watched her in class. So far, (just finished mid-term) she's good. Her co-instructor is full of himself though; always trying to impress the college girls. and he takes forever to grade!!

Class was fairly easy. She takes forever to grade things and is a stickler for grammar and spelling (even though she has errors throughout her entire syllabus and assignment sheet.) I loved Professor Sessom! She really knows this topic and is passionate about it! Does everything she can to help students, even preview assignments before they are due. 8 Week Course- 3 Tests, 2 Article Assignments, 2 In Class Assignments, 1 Contract Paper.
