Comment:

Didn't really understand anything she taught. Made easy concepts like probability extremely challenging especially for such an easy math class. Very old and would talk to herself when she needed to figure something out, or someone didn't know the answer. Small 20 point quizzes once a week, 2 Exams, and a final. Don't take her if you have a choice!

Makes simple math concepts very complicated and hard to understand. She tries to answer your questions but doesn't always understand what you're asking. Didn't feel like a college level class. Luckily, the material is easy for anyone who's naturally good at math. Otherwise, she's tough so do the homework.

She's pretty boring but very upfront. Sometimes she acts like your question is stupid but she does her best to answer it. I hated the class. Best way to get a good grade is to do the homework every single class even though she doesn't check it

She is not a good professor at all. She doesn't explain the concepts well and constantly reminds the class how she does not know how to use a calculator. Generally gives a quiz every two lessons, drops the two lowest grades. Three big tests are given. If possible, try to avoid. But if you have a general understanding of math, you will be fine.

only took attendance in the beginning of the semester, then stopped,extremely boring and i often felt bad b/c no one would participate. Very easy to understand, good enough teacher,teaches straight from the book,gives a quiz every week, drops the lowest 2,but the quizzes can be difficult, not always the same as notes or more difficult then notes.

Probably one of the worst math teachers I have ever had. Seemed as if she could not do the calculus herself! Tough tests and quizzes. Very difficult if you haven't taken the class before. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER!

She's not a horrible person, but at the same time she isn't meant for teaching. The one thing I can say about having her for Computer Science, as opposed to Math, is that at least the class is entertaining seeing as how she's trying to learn the material at the same time as we are :P

Ok im going to shine the light on her for all of you. She isnt as bad as everyone says. However she is very boring. She is definitely hard to listen to. Theres hw after every class but she does not check it. I do recommend doing it though because its going to help you on the test. She WILL help you if you need it. Dont cry if you get stuck with her

AVOID HER LIKE THE PLAGUE! Hands down WORST math professor at Ramapo, nobody else even comes CLOSE. if you're cursed with her as a professor anyway, don't listen to her lectures, the book will teach you more accurately. as sad as that sounds, it is VERY true.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! had her for math with applications and she was the WORST teacher I have ever had. Didn't care about teaching or her students, probably just there for the paycheck. I read the reviews on this site when I registered and didn't think it could be that bad but after having her, I WISH I listened to the other people! HORRIBLE!

Absolutely terrible teacher, but there is really no other choice. Talks to the board, nobody understands anything, useless as a teacher. Don't pay attention to her, do all the problems in the book during class and afterwards, and you will be fine. The more you ignore this teacher, and the more textbook problems you do, the better off you are.

Math w/applications: makes the material infinitely more difficult than it should be in a gen ed. unresponsive to students asking for help. amazes me she is still teaching. i read her poor ratings here before i registered, but i had no idea it would be this bad. please dont make the same mistake i did- this was the most stressful class i've taken

most useless person on earth. she MIGHT take time to solve a question, but halfway thru it shell erase it and redo it cuz she messed up, leaving you twice as confused as you were before asking. avoid this so-called "professor" if you can. she's horrible!

Had her for calculus 1. Is ramapo serious? how could they hire such a terrible professor? but then again that is typical of 90% of ramapo college faculty. She teaches to the board with her back turned to the class. I learned that you are better not paying attention to her, cause if you do you will learn less and become very frustrated.

This professor does not know how to teach! period. I was only in her class for two weeks and she was by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She will not help you if you do not understand what she is talking about, and you better be able to write at a VERY fast pace or you are in trouble! I highly recommend you stay away from this professor.

Terrible! Do NOT take this woman! It's a disgrace to call her a Professor. She never turns around from the board and writes a mile a minute- She teaches the board really well. Never stops or pauses to ask for questions. unhelpful&unclear. Doesn't take time to explain anything. 1/5 the class dropped it & of what's left maybe 1/3 is failing.STAY AWAY
