Took this class online for 8 weeks. Discussion and quiz every week, and 3 test which are not accumulative . Easy grader, no extra credit. Just do what she ask you to do, you'll pass with a decent grade. Even if you don't understand, just write something that make sense, and she'll grade it.

The textbook is not necessary. Don't waste your $ on it, but I did use it a couple times to assist me in essays. If I didn't have it I still think I'd have gotten an A. Almost each week there's a discussion board + quiz. I never studied. I did the quizzes AND tests while looking at the material for the first time and passed them all. EASY A.

Clear and understandable lectures - she uses powerpoint presentations that were available online for review. She has some dental work that made her lectures hard to understand at first, but her teaching and course content render the minor annoyance obsolete. I wish we had more history courses, and that she taught them!

3 Tests (3 attempts, has essay portion), 5 Quizzes(2 attempts), 5 discussion posts + 2 responses . You will easily ace the class with the 730+ points needed for an A but the essay portion of the final test, you have to score 15+ points out of 25 for the A (only exception). Don't get the book, always retake tests and sort which answer is the best.

She is the most organized and amazing online instructor ever! Taking this class was extremely easy due to her clear directions and organization. You have to do discussion board and a quiz every week (which you get 2 attempts for), or an exam (three attempts). Take this class with a friend, and it'll be a SUPER easy A! It's also interesting material

Well organized online class. It's easy, but there is work involved. You get 2 attempts on quizzes and 3 on tests, so you're grade really depends on the amount of effort you put in. She is very nice and very flexible. I missed the first quiz just because I overlooked it and she opened it back up for me to take it.

Easy course. You've got 6 Discussion Board questions, 3 tests,1 concert report and 4 essays. The DB, CR and essays are not a big deal, as long as you stay on top and don't stray from the topic. The tests can be an issue. I got As on all DBs and essays, but I got about an 80% on the tests. I still ended up with an A. I recommend her online course.

I took this class online with Mary. She's an excellent teacher, very clear of expectations and helpful! The class notes and outlines were great. I didn't bother buying the book, all the info was in the notes. She knows her stuff backward and forward. Pace was a bit fast but it was a summer class. Take her if you need the VP credit!

Great professor! Took the class in 7 weeks online and it was an easy A. Learned a lot too! She really wants you to do well! Always offered extra credit point on each test & quiz and discussions weren't super annoying like in other online classes. Take her!

She really knows her stuff and makes you want to learn. Great teaching skills. Effortlessly fills your head with knowledge. Don't miss more than one class or the pace will roll right over you. Awesome prof! Enthusiastic about the subject matter and always available to help out with anything. The best class I have ever taken as well as the most fun. She tells you everything you need to know for exams. Just a great teacher and person! :)
