The man is a genius, sensitive and brilliant. Listening to his voice is a transcendent experience. If you're receptive, he will make you think in a way you never have before and become a more enlightened, loving person. He's also very understanding and helpful. By far the best professor in the university, if not the country.

Dr. Crider is among the most brilliant professors I have ever taken. Absolutely demanding on the papers, but truly because he wants his students to improve. He pushes his agenda slightly, but is extremely receptive to challenges and conversations. A compliment from Dr. Crider is both kind and well-deserved.

Dr. Crider is one of the best professors, if not the very best. He is Moses leading Israel to the promise land. The guy knows his stuff, he's the real deal.

Crider knows his stuff! Phenomenal lectures, and it is most delightful to hear him read from the books. It's like listening to an epic bedtime story every time. Be ready for pop quizes! Tests are challenging, his grading on papers is VERY tough, but if you work hard enough and demonstrate a lot of effort, it is possible to ace his class.

Never have I met a man who realizes his vocation as consummately as Dr. Crider. Truly he is Virgil to his students?every inspirational lecture he gives (and it is a gift) stands as testament to the joy, enchantment, and life-changing power of literature. Take him for either Dante or Shakespeare (imperative.)

My friends and I decided that he is an intesexual. His mind is so utterly amazing that he could get any girl at this school if he wanted to (any girl with half a brain, at least). The UD experience would be nothing without him. So stimulating, appreciates life and beauty and he's AMAZING.
