Damha clearly enjoys teaching and the content that he presents. He's a nice guy who likes to make his lectures fun and sneaks in the odd joke and funny comment. Notes are pretty clear cut and fairly easy to understand with a bit of application. The only problem I had was that his practice questions didn't seem representative of the actual final

Very good lecturer. Despite the long 1 12 hour classes he managed to keep me engaged throughout. I didn't need to take too many notes in class because his lecture slides are very we'll laid out and easy to follow. The homework assigned combined with his slides laid out everything I needed for the final! Brilliant!

Loved the prof! He explains things clearly, was engaging, and although his exams weren't the easiest, they were definitely fair. Probably one of the best profs I had at McGill!

Amazing prof, great lecturer and has a sense of humor! His midterms are extremely representative of the material taught, and gives lots of practice problems and past midterms to study. Textbook is not required, but studying in advance is. Org3 isn't easy, but he made it bearable and fun!

One of the best profs in McGill! Lectures are interesting and his explanations are extremely clear. Midterms are not very easy, but if you study the slides and you will do well. The final is VERY easy! Also, he graded exams very fast even though the all questions are written questions. Overall, awesome prof!

Great prof, truly enjoys science and is interested in the topic he's teaching. His midterms really challenge you to think about what you learned, memorizing everything he says isn't enough to do well (I learned this the hard way).

Great prof, enthusiastic, cares about the class, always stays after class if you have questions. Learned lots. His exams are difficult and should be taken seriously, but the class was awesome. Lots of interesting side notes about chemistry. Highly recommend.

His notes are very clear. Funny and nice. He makes his exams quite difficult, especially for an organic chemistry course. However, you should not have too much trouble if you study well in advance.

He is a great teacher. The exams always seem to be harder than you expect, but he is by far the most agreeable chem prof I've had at Mcgill. He knew my name after Organic 3 even though I never went to class and only met with him once, to ask a quick question about an exam. Very helpful

I have always enjoyed org chem, and after taking org 3 I love it, and I believe that has alot to do with professor Damha. Everytime I went to ask him a question he made it a point to ask how I was doing and it seemed like he really cared (rare for a university prof). 10/10 from me. challenging course but not impossible, thank you professor!
