It sucks because he was actually a very nice teacher. He seemed like he really cared. But it was very difficult to understand him. I did very well in my other math classes but being he was so hard to understand I failed miserable. Sadly I would not recommend this professor for taking your math courses.

Very BAd. It is my belief he kept confusing me with another girl who had a similar name. She did poorly, dropped out. I tried and flunked, I think he thought I was her because he had an IDC attitude when I asked him about redoing some of the work in the next semester to boost the grade so I would not have to pay $450 again for the same class!

The subject matter of the class was not too difficult even for someone not math minded. If you passed alg. 2, you can pass his college alg. class. The difficulty is that he isn't a great teacher. He doesn't connect concepts and forgets to teach you everything that will be on the test. He gave us extra credit and makeup tests to compensate, though.

Save your money and keep looking. He's unorganized, hard to decypher what he is saying (and i speak spanish!), he gives out homework but only grades a few. Do the homework and the tests will be easier. He can not teach. I didn't learn from him. If only he used myMathlab then it would've been so much easier(and cheaper). you've been warned...

First of all his name is Pablo Matos-Rodriguez. He is the worst ever. This is the first class I ever had to drop. I speak spanish and I still didn't understand him. Another student tried to answer my q and he stopped her to yell 'Well what dont you get'. Even with a private tutor I couldn't pass his tests. He SUCKS!! dont take this class

he does not know much english and it was hard to understand his class however if you ask for help during class or outside of class in the tutoring center he will definetly be there for you. if you need a lot of help in math dont take the class if not then go ahead. as long as you that you want to learn he'll be there to help you.

This guy SUUUUUUCKS!!!! He is the worst teacher I have ever taken and he is a mockery to the teaching field. You should quit,Mr. Matos. teaching isn't for everybody. He can't explain things correctly and encourages you to quit if your having trouble. Believe me he is a HORRRIBLE teacher.

what made this class so hard was he cant speak english. and when he is done teacher and ask so who did not get this, he gets mad when most of the class raise there hand. if you take this class be ready to go to the math center every time his class end.
