He's hillarious and tells a ton of stories which helps to keep the class at least somewhat interesting... but I skipped a few times and it didn't matter. Tests are in-class short answers and essays. He grades a little harder than I expected on the 2 assigned essays, but just add more to your essays than regurgitate his notes and you'll be fine :)

Amazing prof. easy to understand. absolutely hilarious. Tells a lot of stories which keep you paying attention. NOT boring. Advice: turn in drafts of your essay b/c he's very helpful and will give good tips on how to get an A paper. TAKE HIM!

Matt is an AWESOME prof. He obviously loves his subject and is always telling funny stories that are actually relevant and really help understanding. It's a lecture format but doesn't feel that way because he takes so much input from students. Great, fun, entertaining guy both in and out of class. p.s. teaches in his socks...

I had him as a teacher many years ago, and his class and the material are still relevant to my life today, he is an excellent teacher. I still remember all the stories he related to us, today. Class of 91. I wish there were more teachers like him today, he is an inspiration. I say thanks to him.
