Matt Geibel is legit the GOAT. He is an excellent teacher - I took him twice for Stats & QDM and he has made both subjects so easy to learn. Watch out though - he has high standards for his students, & even though attendance and homework do not count as a grade, he will call you out if you skip class or don't do the homework.

This guy is a MUST for Stats for social sciences. Your other options are really bad, and I do not think stats can be taught any better. His 8am class is great. and worth the early start. His lectures are pretty fun, just make sure you have thick skin if you participate. If you work with him, and try, you have an A.

Easiest, stress-free class I've taken all semester. He is very organized, assigns minimal homework, and makes the lessons clear and straightforward. I personally wish he taught more subjects other than math because he breaks it down in a way that is easy to understand. Lectures are short so no reason to be late.

Geibel makes Statistics as easy as possible to understand. However, he expects you to do the homework so you can understand his lectures. Also, doing homework helps you pass his quizzes or exams easily. He is willing to help if you take the time to do the work.

TAKE HIM FOR THIS CLASS! He is the best professor for it and he is worth getting up at 8am on a Friday if you must. He is pretty easy and straightforward, but you will learn stats. He usually ended class early, even if mine was 50 minutes MWF and sometimes you just have to look at video lectures and not go to class.

Geibel rocks!!! Wish I could take him for 2812. Doesn't really take attendance, but GO TO CLASS. Although the material is dry, he does his best to make it interesting bearable and is a phenomenal teacher. Do your homework, go to class, and the exams will be super easy.

The best professor for this class hands down. If you have a chance to take him, do it. He's funny, such a chill dude, the way he teaches makes you learn and he makes it so easy. Tests were extremely fair and he tells you exactly what will be on the tests, it was worth getting up for this 8am class. TAKE HIM, TAKE HIM, TAKE HIM. you wont regret it.

def take him. i was always terrible in math and actually got an A in the class. doing the HW is important because it helps you practice and understand the material (he doesn't collect it). as long as you go to class you will pass. hes funny and is willing to help his students.
