He was a nice guy, and the classes were interesting, but his grading was just terrible. I did very well on all papers/homework he gave back, went to almost every class, yet somehow got a C overall. Also impossible to meet outside of class, not helpful.

If you are thinking about taking intro to theory with him don't do it, he is way too hard on grading and there is just simply too much work. he does not understand that most people in that class are there to fulfill a random requirement or just to get an easy A. There is homework every class and he takes it WAY too seriously, just not worth it

He simply put is the man...fair and down to earth and you WILL learn from his somewhat easy style. However, he really can help your writing if you need it. He is not as much of a hippy as he appears

He's no nice and easy going and relaxed. doesnt give tests or exams, maybe a few papers. just go to class as much as possible he's big on class partic. and make sure u do ur note cards. but other then that, class is really chill and enjoyable. really nice guy.
