Outside of class, Dr. Fritz is really great to talk to (and funny).But in class, his lectures were not interesting at all (and basically consisted of him reading off of his iPad). He always went over time too. He did not have clear grading criteria either, which bothered me. Nice person, but would not want to take another class with him again.

Fritz is a funny guy. Community Chorus is so easy...just show up and you get an A. Fritz is obviously a musical dork, but it is hilarious and you can tell how much he loves singing

Very helpful in aural skills when you ask. Expects a lot, even in a one credit class... - I can empathize with his 'being mean' to those who don't practice, but not to those who take risks and have a difficult time with the material.

He says that we should take some time for ourselves and yet assigns us the work of a 4 credit class when it is only worth 1 or 2. He's a nice guy out of class, but he definitely picks on people relentlessly. Many people come out of his classes crying.
