Why do professors become teachers when they have no patience for students? Focus on the notes, blackboard learning objectives + external links for tests, stay as far away from text as you can. It's mostly useless except to decipher some notes. Lecture is simple, tests are very hard, something doesn't add up.

Does not give you PPs, so you rly should take pics of her slides, since several of them are not even available online (or dead links). Lecture is very slow, not engaging enough at times, and it's just her talking with few questions raised. She's smart, though.

The instructor did not foster a productive learning environment. Close to every student in the class has either been scolded or seen another student scolded for asking questions or seeking clarification. The professor consistently gave vague instructions for assignments and labs, then would be extremely condescending when students asked for help.

When I say that she is the worst teacher that I've ever had, I am not being overly dramatic. This is coming from someone who received an A in the class. Read the genetics textbook and study heavily. She asks in-depth questions so you need to really memorize everything and know how to apply it to hypothetical problems.

She's awesome! Go to office hours with questions that show her that you have attempted to understand the material. The group worksheets are not meant to be forgotten about! The first test is kind of a slap in the face, so study everything in your notes. It will be harder than you think it is. Great class.

Professor Morrow is extremely knowledgable, but as a professor she comes off scattered and unapproachable. Tests were more based on memorizing specific examples from her lectures than actually understanding concepts and applying them. The lecture structure does not correlate with the toughness of the exams. Don't skip lectures and take good notes.

I took Dr Morrow's Microbiology class several years ago. The expectation is presented from day one. The materials are given and you are expected to adhere to what the requirements are. She taught me a hard lesson in life that I took with me. "Don't expect everyone in life to give you a break"

She's very condescending and refuses to admit when she's wrong; also very unorganized. I would not have taken this class if I had known she was such a poor teacher - would not recommend.

I love her. She's moody, but she's still great. You can get lost, but just pay attention. Her exams are based on general themes that she repeatedly goes over. Go talk to her. I think she's just socially awkward, but she really does love her students and wants them to do well.

I must agree with a lot of the comments here. She is very moody and when you ask her legitimate questions can snap at you for no reason. I just wouldn't recommend her if you co uld get around it.

although i aced this class, i really detested every moment of it. would answer everything from notes clearly but once you asked something a bit more advanced she would just blow you off. as for preparing you for the real world this is not true. if your boss is fragile and has a small ego, then its def preparing you. working in research, NO ONE beha

Some of you think the prof is a bit offish. I think we should look at it another way. She's not spoon-feeding us material. In a few years we're going to get a good taste of the real world, and those who can carry their own weight will have a greater chance at success. I think, in her own way, she's preparing us for this.

This is a very exciting class. I especially liked the material taught near the end of the semester - that's when we studied diseases. Also, the prof's notes are quite clear and straight to the point. This facilitates the review process for the tests. [Aside: She's got beautiful hands.]

Her notes are great. They're straight to the point. The lab is also pretty straight foward, but without careful reading of the instructions before class, things will not run so smoothly. She's great. Seems like s.o. you'd want to get to know but...well her notes are great.

First of all she just doesn't act moody to lazy students. three people whom she yelled were hard working and got all A's on her test. They needed help with their lab and she just flipped out.Everyone in my class is afraid to ask her help because how she berates them. She shouldn't be teaching.

She's extremely unhelpful especially if your taking this class because the labs are confusing. You are responsible for 2, 3 labs at one time. She's unapproachable and like everyone mentioned very very moody.

I've only seen her act moody when she was dealing with lazy students who were doing stupid things. The tests are hard but consist of exactly what she teaches. They're fair. No other class has a lab like this one. This is the first lab where I feel like I learned something. She's an awsome teacher.
