Great professor. He truly cares about his students. I really enjoyed his class because he clearly loves teaching and marketing. He has some great stories to share. If you need help, go to his office hours where he is incredibly helpful and understanding. A great professor!!

I loved this class. He has a very clear system to this class which is easy to figure out. The quizzes pull exactly from the homework. Go to his office hours frequently to get help with the hw and you will nail the quizzes. He is very reasonable and passionate about marketing/excel. Put in the work and you will do very well!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. He is the most confusing teacher. I have never had a teacher who is this bad. The fact that Prof McIntyre is allowed to teach at this great school demeans Santa Clara. Otherwise he is really nice and has your best interests at heart- but unfortunately it takes more than that to be a teacher.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Biggest waste of time and money. Never had a more confusing class than this. He doesn't explain anything. It's either his way or no way at all on quizzes/cases/projects. Won't even tell you what grade you have going into final. My group put in HOURS for the cases and he doesn't appreciate our time we put in for these things.

Super boring class--confusing cases with lots of excel and he doesn't teach you how to do it. He has everyone do presentations on them even though they don't know what they're doing. Constantly off-topic, pointless class. 7 quizzes w/study guides, 2 case presentations, 1 final, and 1 big project where you write a case

This class wa soooo worhtless. I love marketing and I'm a really good student. I've gotten an A in every single marketing class until his. He doesn't give any guidelines for grading and the markstrat thing sukced! If you hated mike's bikes you will loathe this program! I would definitely reccomend not taking the class!

Hardcore excel, projects can be very confusing sometimes, but mcintyre is a great prof and always willing to offer help! You will also come out of this class as a better presenter and public speaker.

MKT Research: Prof. McIntyre PROS: Good guy, nice, bought a few of us that were 21 beer, easy class to pass. CONS: Spacy, not well organized, class can be difficult b/c there is no guidance or direction for mkt projects. Overall, I would say take the required course, and try to get a free beer!
