I have experienced several math professors at LMU, and so far Megan has been the most helpful professor I've had. She sincerely wants everyone to pass and goes the extra mile to help us understand; she does expect the student to take the time and put in the effort needed to pass the class. She's an understanding, genuine, down to earth professor.

Comment:

One of the best math teacher I've ever had, lectures are crystal clear. there are always useful notes on blackboard that you can refer to. Tests are almost 100 percent based on the HW. I did every single HW problem before each test, and got an A- as my final grade. A lot of extra credits stuff can bump up your grade, like dropping the worst grade.

She's a really good teacher and gives you lots of opportunities to boost your grade and help you out, through dropped quizzes and group work. She even gives you cheat sheets on the tests. Her class can become hard if you do not do any of the homework, but if you stay on top of the homework you should do just fine.

I'VE NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE MATH PROFESSOR. Does an excellent job teaching the material in class, but come test time ITS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE. She tries to trick you instead of making sure you have basic knowledge of the material covered. Don't take her class. Trust me.

I didn't even do that well in her class (It was my own fault) but Granich is definitely a fantastic math teacher. Super clear and explains her material very well. Although you still have to practice what she teaches with the HW or else you're gonna struggle.

She's one of the best math teachers! If you show up, engage, and do the homework on time you'll be fine. Go to tutoring if you need it! Her class isn't easy, but it's reasonable. There will never be something on a test or quiz that you haven't seen before. The group work can be pretty helpful too.

Megan is an awesome professor. She made Calculus really understandable. She'd always keeps you updated about your grade and class standing. Her explanations and the notes that she provides for you is very helpful. Definitely recommend her. Go to class, finish the homework, study for quizzes. Dr. Granich is the best! Take her, take her, take her. Calculus is a hard subject but she goes above and beyond helping out and providing timely feedback to her students. Great sense of humor and her explanations are engaging and easier to grasp than regular ol' boring calculus. You'll regret it if you take someone else.

I do not really understand why people think she is such a great teacher. She was barely ever available this semester in her office hours. I also struggled with the material, Not due to the applications of Calculus, but to some of the complicated Algebra steps, which she doesn't go over or cover , which makes the course tough and frustrating.
