Comment:
Megan is funny at times but her class is horribly organized. She rambles a TON and does not give enough info (if any at all) in her lectures so the course is essentially self-taught. Does not like tech. either, No D2l or slides. Up there as one of the worst Profs. I've had at Camosun so far, Highly recommend avoiding taking this class with her.

Worst prof I've ever had. Doesn't teach us anything, just rambles and goes on rants so you have to teach the course to yourself using the coursepack. Is consistently late, but then will make fun of students who are even more late then her. She's scared of technology, so no laptops or phones in the classroom and none of the material is online. Awful

Megan is great. I think her humour is lost on most. You won't be spoon fed material. There was no online resources, but ya just gotta be old school and actually take some notes and take an interest into the philosophy behind it. I think she does a great service for business students to think beyond money and remember the CHILDREN!

Megan's class was a mess, due to poor class attendance and participation. She is funny, but was definitely frustrated with the state of our class. She was very lenient to the point of being abused by some students. She knows her stuff but will make you regret speaking out if you are wrong.

Apparently I'm one of the few, I enjoyed her class. Grading on assignments, quizzes and exams is more than fair. I found the case studies/argument analysis are meant to challenge you. This isn't accounting, be creative and make an argument, if you can back it up you'll do well in this course and really digest the content.

Avoid avoid avoid! The worst teacher I have ever had at Camosun. Lectures are pointless, unclear grading criteria (she marks you out of 3 on the case studies + argument analysis), this class is textbook heavy so prepare to read if you want to pass. I can't stand how she teaches her lectures, she makes no sense and everything is irrelevant.

Megan is without a doubt one of the worst profs I've ever had. She was unclear in lectures and would VERY often make fun of students and imply that we were all stupid. She would make fun of students who answered questions wrong and then rant about how none of us liked to speak out in class-as a result of her ridicule. Incredibly disrespectful.

She thinks she is funny. She is rude to the students, don't dare to have a different opinion from her. She makes you feel stupid... It's a shame because she seems nice but people are scared to speak because of her belittling

she is horrible. she would bring in articles and read them to the class. when someone comments on the issue or topic she says theyre wrong. also she uses a weird voice and tries tp be funny. she id just awful. All lectures are a wait of your time since she doesnt discuss course content at all. you meed to read the book to know something

Megan has a great sense of humour, unfortunately lost on many students who are concerned with looking cool and being too serious. Her lectures can be "for fun," as in, notes not really required. Just read the textbook carefully and show up to class prepared to laugh! She can ask in class questions that don't really lead you to the right answer.

Megan was a funny professor, however her lectures were very unclear and hard to follow. Going to class was almost pointless, if not for the articles that were handed in at the end of class. She is vary vague about what is on tests and quizzes. She is a fairly lenient marker. My best advice is to use the website on the back of the text book!!!!!!!!!

Awesome teacher. Tends to wander off topic quite often. Difficult to take notes, just make sure anything she writes on board, you write down.phil102 Be prepared to do a lot of reading which you MUST do if you want to succeed. Marked fairly, and a great sense of humor. Highly recommend.

Straight forward class. Quizzes will give you some trouble but the easy 30% worth of homework completion marks will boost your grade and so will the 10% attendance marks. Study for the exams! Overall a nice GPA booster class. Not sure what I was learning though.

Decent prof. You get 20% for free if you attend class and do the homework, which she just checks for completion. No notes are taken at all; quizzes are hard and you do one every week + homework. YOU MUST, MUST READ THE TEXT to do well! Very lenient marker (for assignments). Exams are a bit hard, e-mail her for help if needed. Got an A- so not bad.

I really liked Megan, she was incredibly friendly and funny. Yes she is quite eccentric but it made the class soo much more interesting. The content was great, text book isn't really required.. and she made the best greek salad in class to explain one of her lectures :) yumm

Megan is one of the worst profs I've had at Camosun. Guaranteed she will make fun of you at any opportunity, and her initial novelty wears off within a couple of weeks. Upon leaving a lecture you will have taken no notes. Without reading the entire textbook, there is no way to pass the weekly quizzes or her exams. Avoid her at all costs. Seriously.

Meagan could certainly be considered eccentric at times. She is knowledgable and very polite. However, her class does take quite a bit of studying to fully grasp the concepts. It is the hardest class Ive taken so far at Camosun. That being said I have also learned the most from this class and would highly recommend it.
