To begin, she is VERY RUDE, does NOT teach, and is very slow as far as emailing back IF she even answers. Tests are impossible and NOT on all material given. I have never rated a teacher poorly until her and would recommend AVOIDING her at all costs.

This was a FUN class. She is a very good professor and you will learn alot from her. After taking this class, I can say that I like and care about science ALOT more than I did. Only really big assignments are the unit and the midterm notebook. Otherwise, this is a very fun and easy course. You play every class period. Highly recommended. :)

I took her for my LBST 499 class. I had her in pre summer for two weeks. She made class so much fun and it was very interesting! We even got to bring in food for everyone in class for 2 days. All she required was a 15 min. presentation, 2 short tests (very easy, and a few optional assignments! this class was awesome and you should def take her

Try to avoid Dr. Twiest in summer classes at all costs, as she went overboard with the amount of work assigned. Over the span of a semester, this amount of work would be no problem; however, in a five-week course, there isn't enough time in the day to do what she was asking. Furthermore, the coursework assigned was absolutely absurd and tedious.

Dr. Twiest, can be a little out there. But she is a very good teacher and an excellent supervisor come student teaching. She is extremely helpful and I learned a lot from her class that I used in student teaching and that I am sure I will use in the future. She might be tough but she is just preparing you for the future.

I just took her this past semester and it is a VERY easy class, but like others have mentioned, she can't teach to save her life. If you have her, just hang in there and put up with her lack of teaching, and you'll get an A for sure. Very easy class.

i have not learned a thing for this class from her. i learned more from my classmates presentations than her. her syllabus is confusing. she starts class later each day and then doesn't give you enough time to finish her impossible tests!
