I took the intensive IBUS 471 (8 day ) course with professor Farashahi, and I must say it was an amazing course. It was a bit overwhelming due to the time constraint, but what I have learned in 8 days was far more valuable than what I've learned in semester long courses. The course was very interactive!! I highly recommend taking it!

He is an amazing prof. He really cares about the student and the quality of his teaching and the course material shows his passion and dedication. He is very smart and you will learn alot by taking his courses. If you are lazy and dont want to do any work, then don't take courses with him. Truly one of my best profs ever!!!

Took it as an elective (Global Competition) for MBA. Every class we had two debating teams, and once we had an M&A simulation (3 hours of negotiations). We should have more PRACTICAL courses as this in MBA program. He knows his subject, lectures are very interesting and often funny, everyone is welcomed to participate. A lot of group work.

He's a very smart guy. He teaches well and is approachable. He does a good job of making some of the tedious information more interesting. My only complaint is that his exam marking sucks. I think he wanted us to memorize the textbook word for word.

He knows everything about management, but doesn't make you feel inadequate. Very very helpful, will make office hours any time, gives amazingly accurate feedback and advice. Tough marker; you need to know your stuff very well. The people who complain about him never went to class or did badly because they didn't study. A+++ would buy from again

challenges students in every way possible--you definitely earn your mark in this class, and he gives you plenty of opportunity to do so. Fair guy. Encourages creativity through ambiguity. Also encourages making mistakes--he doesn't want only those who KNOW the answers to give it a shot.

If you read your stuff he is a teacher that will make sense. But youhave to do your work, i noticed he pays alot of attention in participation so participate in class, another tip is that read his slides. Great professor.( Good Job)

I think he is a great prof. He puts alot of effort into helping the students. If you are a lazy ass, you arent gonna enjoy his teaching, but if you actually make an effort, he is the best prof you can ask for. I only wish he taught more courses!!!!
