Lectures can be boring, I slept a lot in this class but its usually a fairly easy A. Very understanding and not too hard on grading. I recommend reading the book outside of class to be prepared for tests

Definitely a nice guy with a decent sense of humor. Macro with him was pretty boring though. He drones through his lectures and tends to repeat the same information over and over. He isn't too hard to understand in lecture, but the wording on his tests seemed unnecessarily tricky. Overall, not that bad.

Comment:

Have taken many econ classes with him. He is very boring and can't figure out why students are falling asleep. My advise to anyone taking his classes is to ignore him and read from the books. He gets his questions directly from the text, and listening to him will often leave you confused. Overall I like him, just find the best way to study.

He's a really good professor! I took macro with him as a distributive. The class can be long but he makes sure we understand and when he knows we're drifting off he'll crack a joke and get back out attention. I recommend him!

Took multiple ECON courses with him, he was hard to understand at first but eventually got used to his lectures and enjoyed his classes. He is a quality professor for the econ department, though if you're taking just Econ for a DIST, another professor might be advisable. Asking questions before tests/knowing textbook terms will get you an A
