I took three of Mulcahy's between Spring 2012 and Spring 2013, Western Civ 1 and 2, and World Politics. The man is an amazing professor, and truly unforgettable. He consults no notes for his lecture and doesn't require the textbook. He does value your honest opinion on the book report. I dragged the Western Civ 2 book and got an A for it.

LOVEEE MULCAHY!!! HES LOUD, FUNNY, & TEACHES VERY WELL. i havent met a professor thats as kind and can lecture everything off the top of his head. Hes very flexible when it comes to needing help. Truly a smart and understanding person who cares to know his students. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Dr. Mulcahy is a fantastic professor. He is very knowledgeable and is able to keep his students attention in class. His tests can be hard but he makes sure you are prepared and is always willing to talk to his students.

This man is by far my fav professor ever.He just sits down, lectures pure knowledge and rants about either his younger days or his politics. Amazing man. Took 4 of his classes over the years. Even gave me a recommendation. Would recommend his classes even if you don't need them.

Dr. Mulcahy doesn't have knowledge. Knowledge has Dr. Mulcahy. He may be the smartest man alive. He's insane, Irish, loud, and pissed, but amazing. Always has a lot of stories to tell and enough rants to boot. I'm pretty sure he knows everything there is to know about anything.

Dr. Mulcahy is very knowledgable in history. It is quite amazing. His classes can sometimes be boring, but generally easy. You do not need the book...ever. He is very nice, and an interesting professor....I reccomend his classes.

This is one of my favorite teachers I have ever had. This guy WANTS students to succeed. A very organized, helpful, and rewarding teacher. I wish he was teaching at my transfer college. I'd take every class he taught. A++++++++++++
