It helped me that i lived in Germany for 9 months prior to taking this class, but i found that even if you had no previous knowledge ... if you do the lab work and the homework you can keep up. She goes fast and its important that you go to class.she's awesome and i can't believe how much German i have learned in this class. Do all your assignments

I have just started German 100 and this is my favourite class already. She is always cheerful and bubbly, plus the fact that she speaks mostly German helps with learning the language faster. She teaches well and has a good plan of her course. I have never learned a language this quickly and with this much enjoyment!

100-101 class is too much, i couldn't recommend anyone should take it. There's is declining interest in german at Cap and so she put 6 credits of courseload into one course (100/101). She tends to rant in German even though nobody understands a word of what she's saying. If you don't have previous exp w/ german you'll find the course too hard...

a very good professor. i learnt a lot of german this semester and i don't find her teaching style one bit quakey. shes super nice and is willing to help her students. when she says you have to practice your german on a daily basis - she means it. dont be scared to speak in class - you'll have to!

The first half of the course covers basic/easy stuff, given lots of time, but second half covers complex/hard stuff, little time is given to grasp it. The classes are very fun though, you will be called on for answers to questions, so slackers beware, haha. =) Really nice and friendly! =)

In germ 100 she goes at a good pace but in 101 she goes fast and if u don't study ur screwed in 101. And I don't like that she lets ppl who r fluent in german in and she seems to favor them, it makes the rest of the class feel inadequate-either way I gotA

Awesome teacher! Best you can get for a languages course. Explains everything clearly and makes sure everyone understands before she proceeds! Very nice to the class too and unboring!
