Took her screen-printing FYOS. Very easy. You write a one page essay about what you wanted to do by graduation. 3 Short event papers (half page) and preparing prints for class (gives you materials). Easy group final project where you talk about art you like. Takes field trips to Art museum and special collections. Very easy! Defiantly take!

Very caring and loves what she does. She takes FYOS very seriously so there's a lot of random work about attending events and study abroad. I remember spending hours outside of class completing papers as well as print designs. Very knowledgable about the school and really cares about the students taking her course. Takes points off if you skip once

Good professor. I took her screenprinting FYOS. It lasted half the semester. You have to put in a lot of your time during the class. We made paper prints and t-shirts. You are given lots of creative range on your art works. You need to write 3 short papers for the class

loved screenprinting, class was pretty standard. could have pushed us to make more than like intro-project looking work, but overall i would def. reccommend this class. harshman is best if you get to know her a little bit and are open about what needs to happen in the class. Get your stuff done on time and glassine stuff properly to do well.

She talks a LOT and tends to repeat herself, giving students little class time to work on projects. Her class is not easy, but if you pay attention and put some thought into your projects (and are willing to spend quite a bit of extra time in te lab), you will be fine. I thought her class was very rewarding and enjoyable.
