Professor Qualls revolved our whole Comp 1 class around gender studies and a lot of times I couldn't tell if I was supposed to be writing or studying gender. Very animated though and easy to talk to, she will make arrangements for you if you just talk to her.

She is the best professor I've ever had. She is tough grader, but she gives you feedback so you can improve your writing. You need to go to class prepared, but as long as you make effort for her class, you can get an A.

Professor Qualls is a very bad professor. She gives you chance to correct the essays and tells you what you have to do. But the thing is that she doesn't tells everything. So when you remake the essay and you have done everything so you think you will get an A. You get a much lower grade. So watch out

She wants you to work really hard, but it is worth it. She is very literate; it looks like she knows English grammar by heart. Very helpful, inspirational, clear. English is really improving. She is trying to explain things as clear as it can be. One of the best teacher I have ever had in my life.

Professor Qualls is AMAZING!! She's full of energy, ready for a good discussion, and passionate about teaching literature. Wouldn't say she's easy you gotta work for an A! But, she's very helpful and will go beyond class time to help you with whatever you need. Would take her class over and over!!

Not the easiest English teacher, but one of the best. World Lit II with her was interesting. She's a philosophy teacher at heart so be prepared to dissect literature in a very thought-provoking way for her. Very middle of the road in grading essays, and she knows that students are busy.

Amazing teacher I hate Literature in general but she made it interesting in so many ways I love her I would definitely recommend taking her for anything and everything you have to take english wise. She also lets you submit your papers to her early to critique so you can fix them if need be and makes it super impossible to fail her class.

Professor Qualls is an amazing and thought provoking teacher. One of the best that I have had. The class was not easy, but I enjoyed the discussions very much. It helps that Prof. Qualls is an intellectual powerhouse. She is also quite striking in a Princess Leah nerd-babe sort of way. Her classes will impact you for the rest of your life.
