If you are good at learning on your feet and doing tons of homework all at a pace of EXTREMELY fast ! Turns and burns on the board to comprehend and copy at the same time. Look and listen until final equations and examples are given. Get ready to do most of your learning on your own.

Dr. Jenkins knows his stuff, and grades very fairly on his tests. However, he is less than willing to help, and is disrespectful to students in his class. He commonly makes students feel stupid when they ask a question, so after about week 2, the class becomes silent except for his voice. He also moves incredibly fast in class.

I like Dr. Jenkins. It's difficult to follow him in class for me because he moves in a fast pace with lots of notes for me to take, but he is a very nice guy and super helpful outside of class. His attitude towards teaching is something every prof should learn from. If you want to learn, he will try everything to help you.

He is an ass. Won't help at all and can not teach without his paper in front of him. Makes constant errors as well.

I took Dr. Jenkins for a computational Physics directed studies course. He moved at a fast pace, but he was always available for questions. Focused studying and class prep was a definite requirement. Very important to keep pace, but worth it when it came to seeing real world applications of Physics concepts.

He is awesome! The only bad thing about him is how fast he goes, but he is very clear and teaches you everything you need to know for his tests. I was never in the dark about anything. EASY quizzes every week if you practice what he teaches throughout. Hard tests, but everything on it is what you learned in class. Great Teacher!!!

Jenkins is not as bad as people say he is. It is true that he moves EXTREMELY fast and you really don't have time to digest what you write in class, but if you read it later you'll realize that he gives very helpful notes. Doesn't use the book at all. Tests are usually pretty hard, but he scales them. Take him if you like structured classes.

He's not the best at teaching but he scales all of the tests and sometimes lets you retake them. One of my tests went from a D to an A because he let us redo the test at home, averaged the test, and still scaled it 11 points. He gives homework each week which makes for an easy grade.

Dr. Jenkins was a great professor to take after someone like Gapud. He is very clear and organized with the way he teaches. It will seem he tests and quizzes very fair if you have studied hard. I would certainly take him again.

If you want the worst experience possible, enroll with this guy. Nobody is more humorless, uncaring, hyper, obnoxiously loud (even face to face), and hostile; a heartless automaton who expects students to be the same. Class is always very tense and confrontational. He does know so much, but that makes you feel even worse.

He does not even give you time to understand and digest what he his writing.Do not take him for no reason what so ever. I wish I had another professor so bad. It sucks!!!!!

He does move quickley, but if you study his examples, the problems on the test are nearly identical. He scales every test which helps too. Don't miss the quizzes!

People who say Jenkins is too hard simply do not study the right way. His tests come almost exactly from his example problems on the board, and he gives weekly quizzes which can boost your points. He gives credit if you even write down the equation needed, plus, he scales! Yes, he goes fast, but just work the example probs and you're fine.

If you have to take Physics stay away from Jenkins. I mean I prob. could have done better than a D in 201...IF I STUDIED PHYSICS ALL THE TIME...Thought he'd cut me some slack in 202 though cuz he knows me.... Didn't happen. His tests are 10 times harder than any problem we've ever done. Clark is def the guy you want if at all possible.

If you take a look at the second comment on the list of comments for this professor, forget it! This guy shows no mercy for anyone. I just took this maniac's third exam and failed it, along with everyone else except for one person. He covers WAY too much information for each exam. I hate the nice, but idiotic professors!

He is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. Nothing that he writes up on the board helps you at all. He writes and talks so fast, I promise you will not get everything he puts on the board. Hes a dork. But he is funny to watch spin his wheel.

People say this class, and with this teacher, is impossible. He's definitely not easy, and he definitely goes extremely fast through the lectures, but if you study and copy his examples off the board, the tests have similar problems. Don't be caught unprepared, or else it will seem like he sucks.
