I remember Meryl because she was by far the worst teacher I had at Art Center . She was arrogant, and didn't know how to TEACH. When I asked her for help on Typography, she just directed me to design annuals.

She is moody but regardless that doesn't have anything to do with her teaching ability, we all have our moody days. She is an excellent teacher and really knows what she is doing, I have learned so much from her, I do not regret taking this class.

Honestly all the people have rated her is are all babies. Yes she is moody but only when students fall asleep in her class and design teachers are not always nice. She is very helpful, she will tell if your type sucks and she just gets to the point.

yeah, she's a stickler, but she does know her stuff. i am really glad i had her for type 1, and i think she was better than the others (yes, even simon!) because guidelines for the assignments were looser than other teachers, it allowed for students to choose their own content, which in turn brought up a number of diff problems to talk about, instead of every student workiing on the same thing having the same problems. but she does have a bit of a mood swing....
