I TOOK HIM FOR MICRO, MACRO AND BANKING. I'M GLAD I DID, CUZ' I DITCHED THE LAST EXAM IN ALL 3. IF U STUDY AND PREPARE FOR TESTS U WOULD DO GOOD AND ONE FINAL LESS TO WORRY ABOUT. He knows his subject very well. Impressive at teaching and exposing the material straight from his head. However, since the material is hard u still have to read and study on ur own. He gets annoyed at people who do not act as mature or responsible college students. Seems intimidating but HE IS GOOD. He likes to make people EARN their grade.

ok, he is scary at first, but he is actually a very good professor. attendance is not mandatory, but recommended since he makes things very clear. he is very blunt-but probably just sick of students acting like they are in elementary school. if you put in a good effort, read, you will do well...and you will actually learn something.

goes over material in class but its not everything u need to know. gives u 5 exams and drops lowest grade. gives practice tests prior to exams. must read text book to do well. you dont do so awesome on all tests but theres a curve on them as well. dont take him unless your making time to read text on ur own. not horrible but not the best. got B+

This professor is the worst professor I have ever seen in my 4 yeas in college. first if you ask him a question, he'll huff and puff and look at you like you're stupid and you should know it all. If you ask him about something he may tell you" I went over it and I'll not answer you" I asked him a question and he told me to go read the book.

Ozcan is okay but expect to sit down and do some work. An "A+" is only attainable if you ace the tests and the class participation, which requires no actual participation at all! What I mean by that is that your class participation grade is strictly based on test grades. I dunno know how he does it by that is how he runs the class.

Wow, this class was a cool experince. Mr. Ozcan is an outstanding teacher - I see economics everywhere now. It seems some people don't realize how much effort he puts in to make students understand. This website can be misleading: this professor is not hard, its just the subject that is confusing to some. I am glad i took his class.
